I'm not sure he can do it every game anymore, but Klay's shooting was fantastic tonight.   Wiggins had an all around great game too.
Probably Harden´s best game for the 76ers.
Kyle Lowry has been pretty bad for the Heat. Maybe a blessing in disguise he didn't choose us, Brunson might not have blossomed this year like he has with Lowry in front of him.

That´s what usually happens with Mavs big FA targets. It´s not only that they all say no. It´s that it would be just as bad, if they said yes. Players that the Mavs wanted to give $20-30M per year ended up on minimum salaries during the duration of these offered deals or immediately following those deals.

Yep.  It's kind of crazy that most of their big FA misses have been blessings in disguise.  It does not seem like Cuban ever learns this lesson.  This team is competing at a very high level, and it is doing it with draft picks, UDFAs and MLE guys.  Hopefully plan powder is done for a while given our cap situation.

Agreed.

I was thinking of the KP deal, which wasn't an outright free agent signing, but we certainly overvalued him.

...and Chandler Parsons.  At least they avoided re-signing him at the Memphis price.

So glad the Kemba thing didn't work out.  There was also talk of going hard after Kawhi, when he was a free agent.

If you swing big, you can also miss big, and it's tougher to backtrack.  Maybe solid singles are the way to go.
This is well worth the 4 min watch....

Embiid is going to take his wrath out on Miami.

Thanks for sharing.

"I'm just like you, I'm human just like you"

That hurt was real.  The loss was real.  And the appeal to humanity, both his own and that of the media/fans was real too.  It's important to remember that it's easy to dismiss these guys as whiny millionaires that get to "play a game" for a living...but at their core level they are just like us.  Human struggle doesn't evaporate with fame and money...and in some cases all it does is amplify it.

I loved watching AI compete from his Georgetown days all the way through his NBA career.  I really enjoyed this retrospective on talking about practice.
Good for Jokic, 100% deserves it. Best player in the NBA by a good chunk IMO.

And an elbow for dessert.

So if (when?) Dal eliminates PHX, would that change the voting?
