Thanks for the heads up.

I am the other way around. I don't really listen to them, but this one was good, imho

Cato does a better job with 77 minutes in heaven being a little less sunshine pumping than the locked on guys but Cato just doesn't do enough podcasts.
I wonder how long it will be before NO shuts down Zion for the year (and quietly starts seriously discussing trade offers).

Same injury area as the one that killed Roddy B's career. Break in that area is often very problematic to heal. With it being on the foot of a player with a massive weight load and whose game is based on the super explosion that begins from his feet, this is scary, if you're a Zion fan.
Don't have any sympathy for KAT.  The Minnesota Timbervolves are paying him a lot of money to win.  So he needs to man the f up and be a "superstar" and win some games for them.

Minny has plenty of talent to be better.

MIN is outscoring their opponents by +1.0 pt when KAT plays.....MIN is outscored by -6.3 pts when KAT isn't in the games.

So people blame KAT and not his teammates for his team sucking, but when DAL is outscored by -5.5 pts when Luka plays and then outscores the opponent by +3.7 pts when Luka doesn't play it is all Luka's teammates fault?
At the end of the day, Minnesota has a differential of 1.8 between the PPGs.  So they are not getting blown out very often.  And if that is the case, then it is a matter of crunchtime with the Wolves.  And if KAT is a superstar then that is where they are supposed to shine.

So if they are losing, yes the superstar is to blame.

And I am not even talking about the playoff stress that someone like Dirk had to endure for all of his career but just regular season wins.  There is no excuse why KAT could not drag the Timbervolves to a .500 record and in the playoffs.

I'm not sure if they can talk Dame into but they should tank and hope to hit on a draft pick.  If he wants to remain in Portland long term, it might be their best path forward.

He will be a perfect modern center if he can consistently play defense.  He can’t because he is injured, or there are nights he doesn’t care. Plus he is great at weak side blocks but not on the man defense when put in PnR situations constantly.  His offensive skillset is also suspect. Great at the occasional logo shot but can you feed him the ball 5 times in a row in the stretch and get 3 good possessions out of it? No.

The true unicorns are Jokic, Embiid and KAT.  KP is not in their league. Not saying I am in a rush to just trade him, but we need to rank him correctly so that we don’t miss good opportunities to better the team.

He got that Unicorn label in N.Y. after Phil Jackson drafted him.  I agree, he's not a Unicorn.  Too inconsistent, and misses too much time for nagging injuries. I wouldn't classify Anthony Davis as one either, although his skill set is better than KP's when healthy.
Covid is wreaking havoc on NBA rosters. Coaches and players.  Every team seems to have one or two key players out, aside from other injuries.
During the halftime of the Mavs game last night, I turned on the fourth quarter of the Hawks-Rockets game.   Atlanta blew another lead and are now under .500 for the season.  I was expecting them to come back a little this year, but they should be fine.  They have had some injuries.  But I wonder if they are a sneaky trade deadline team.  They have a lot of young players and attractive players.   Do they move a few for a player that can be a top 3 player on their team?   Is there one of those players out there who is available?

The rockets looked good.  They are a bunch of hungry, athletic players.   I saw them earlier in the season and they were awful.   Now even without Jalen Green they looked fun to watch last night.

I think this is basically the only trade they would be really interested in. They have Reddish and Hunter who have very high ceiling but perhaps not there yet and (in case of Hunter) often injured. Some vet contracts. The question is if they aim for top tier (Beal and similar) or a tier below (Grant, Sabonis or similar as examples).
Jeez, seems like a ton of players are entering health and safety protocols.   Talen Horton Tucker just added too.   It feels like we are going to have more suspended games coming up.
