Thank god. The new super-max and all these hard cap rules, really make this all too f****** complicated, but probably means a lot more S&T deals in the future.

How ridiculous is it that you can now literally get paid for signing free agents from other teams? Guess we should have let THJ walk and sign Fournier, cause roughly the same player comes attached with two 2nd round picks. Cry

They should have had Mavs vs. Clippers but they could be saving that for MLK day

They should have had Lakers vs. Celtics for the 75th anniversary.

I thought Nuggets vs. Sixers would have been good as well given how close Embiid and Jokic were in the MVP race for much of last season. I don't really get why the Jazz are there. I guess because they're rewarding the number 1 seed over a good storyline?

Should've definitely been Mavs vs. Clips but I guess with no Kawhi that's not nearly as juicy of a game.

That is better than THJ contract.  Team option?  I would rather had Fournier.  Maybe he really wanted to go to New York?

Was thinking the exact same thing.

Interesting that the NBA is staying with the same faces it has been promoting for the last 5+ years. No Luka, no Giannis, no Trae, no Celtic, no Jazz, no PHX. I guess two of the 3 faces are in the primetime game, so they are trying to maximize viewership for that.

Hard to believe that the guy, who is a guard, who is second in the odds for DPOY is on the trading block and is partially seen as a liability in some scenarios.

He is totally right, the NBA either needs to drop the facade or investigate every single team every single year. Then again, I guess contracts being what they are, it's hard to argue that they actually can't drop the fascade and this is what they have to do. Seems owners would be more up in arms about this seeing as though it's their players under contract being tampered with. They all know how it's happening. It's just sour grapes when they are on the short end of that stick.

Scary Terry getting nearly 100 mil after a singular breakout season screams to me an overpay...

Imagine you're trying to run an NBA team in Charlotte, a place where nobody wants to play, while at the same time, the fans believe they know so much about basketball (college) that they have always turned their noses up at the team. That might be the most difficult situation in the NBA. I agree with your opinion, but it must be tough for the folks running the show there not to act on the glimmer of hope last season offered.
