This is a nod to, gather all the assets you can get from any avenue. If they fit, GREAT! If not, you have the assets to figure out what does.
I live in KC. Pretty cool what this guy did for fun:

Always surprised they never get brought up as an expansion option.  That town would fully embrace a team playing at T Mobile or whatever it's called these days.

Where's Bill Robinzine?
Wow! Bill Robinzine— blast from the past. I remember that guy and I really liked the wonderfully named Otis Birdsong. Great player too. I have their basketball cards somewhere…

In an extension, can you add playing clauses/bonuses? That has to be the way they go with his next contract, right?
From his rookie season on, I have never felt like Zion really had his head screwed on straight. I wouldn't give him the max if I was an owner, but someone else sure will if the Pelican don't.

Or legs.
The older Zion gets, the more likely he gets injuries.

He'd likely to miss out more and that's just terrifying for a team who would pay him for what he wants.
Interesting stuff about a Covid outbreak in the Suns organization while games 6-7 were being played with the Mavs. They may not have been entirely up front about it either.

If he is in play, Stein's not still touting DAL as one of the players, is he?

I think ZL-to-DAL supposed pursuit will end up like Rudy with Stein - pimped as DAL being in the mix, so the Mavs get their mention, then it goes away. Stein is a captive of what he's being told, but ...

Do the Bulls say no to Dinwiddie + Kleber + future 1st round pick?

Shame the Mavs weren´t more strategic.

Doncic, Dinwiddie, Bullock, Brunson + DFS (low capholds), Kleber (non-guaranteed), Bertans (stretch-waive) and you´d have an outright signing threat that would probably have the Bulls agree to a trade.

Makes sense now that we lost to the Warriors. These sore losers gave us COVID. Angry

You're not even within shouting distance of cap room for ZL. Absurdly unrealistic to even theorize. The Bulls would die laughing with a call threatening to sign ZL outright, from a team with a cap sheet like Mavs to deal with.

I'm lost.  That would have to be an S&T, right?  I thought there was no way we could realistically S&T a player to the Mavs.  Does this involve letting Brunson walk and going through other contortions to get below the apron?  Also, Lavine wants the Max.  Don't think Din plus Maxi is enough salary.  Do we really want to gut the team and future flexibility all for the pleasure of paying another offense only guy 38 mil who wants out of Chicago because DeRozan got too much credit?  That feels like a move to become the next Portland.
