How the heck do the Pacers lose to the Pelicans without Ingram?

I know they're missing Sabonis, Brogdon, and Turner, but they still have Lavert.

Looking at the lineups the Pelicans had more legit NBA players in the rotation. Hart/Graham/Valanciunas are solid starters.

Wow. The Nets are going to end up with Simmons, aren't they...unbelievable.

The only questions is if at the TDL or in the offseason via S&T.

Kevin Durant right now hearing that:

Celtics currently up 44 points on the Kings. Tatum has 36 in 31 mins
Hornets vs. Pacers was an absolute shootout!

158 to 126 for CHA.

Hornets had 4 guys score above 20 with Oubre topping out at 39 points. Pacers kept up with them but had a terrible third. Further not a single Pacer scored above 20. Crazy game.
Charlotte is a very good offensive team. They're 2nd in scoring and 6th in offensive efficiency.  They made 24 3's but you would think the Pacers would show some resistance,  158 is a lot of points in a game with no OT.   They're riddled with injuries, playing a bunch of G-Leaguers so it's a nightmare 1st season for RC.

Gotta admit, that tweet is pretty funny.

Scroll down and you'll see some interesting rumors regarding Donovan Mitchell.

Quote:The incessant buzz around the league is that there are those in Mitchell’s circle who believe he is too big of a star for Salt Lake City. Further, some say it’s only a matter of time before he joins former Creative Artists Agency agent and current New York Knicks president Leon Rose.

"They’re a first-round exit from Donovan being in New York," an Eastern Conference scout said.
That´s what happens, when you allow rats to move into your house.

So an unnamed Eastern Conference scout who totally doesn't work for the Knicks would like to say that he expects former Creative Artists Agency agent, current New York Knicks president, and remarkably handsome and intelligent Leon Rose to be the big draw for a star player? Especially after Mitchell grows frustrated with losing in the first round in Utah and prefers to perennially miss the playoffs in New York? And because the Knicks are the go-to destination for similar stars such as (checks notes) Julius Randle?

Gotcha.

That's one way to view it. I don't know I think there has been cracks forming in Utah's locker room dating back pre-covid. I remember a hit piece coming out about Gobert being a general dick and not well-liked on the team. Then Gobert making fun of covid and being the first official case in the NBA definitely didn't make Donovan happy.

Definitely something to keep an eye on.
It might be best to just go full tank for Portland and retool around Lillard, A.Simons and FRP for another run in the Lillard era.

If the current trends for both teams continue, Mavs might catch Utah quickly in the standings. I would still rather avoid them in the first round, though
