Yeah this Memphis team is gonna be a problem. Between Ayton/Booker/Bridges and Morant/JJJ/Bane, we simply need at least another young top level guy. How to get him, no idea. Luka might be 10-15% better than Booker and Morant, but that can simply not account for the rest.
Klay's shooting was brutal.  Memphis just plays at a relentless pace.  Ja is obviously in the Matrix.  He makes so many ridiculously tough shots at the rim and it almost looks like he has no touch with how violently the ball travels but that's obviously not the case.  It's hard to describe.
Ja is fun to watch. I just hope his "pedal to the metal" game doesn't result in a lot of injuries because of his slight build.

The West is going to be more brutal next year when key players that were injured this year return to the Clippers and Nuggets, to go along with the comeup of young teams like Memphis, Minnesota and New Orleans. It will be tough to just even make the play-in game next year.

He is. Hunter is developing into a quality 3&D wing. He's Atlanta's best player overall player I think.

This is my concern as I feel like he's a next generation Derrick Rose. Enjoy his play and success while you can because I'm worried that 82 games + playoffs will take a toll.

Every time Ja drives and falls I expect a major knee injury.
Dillon Brooks is a guy that I have thought I would love to have on the Mavs. I still would, but man that was bad. The outcome has to be taken into account and he definitely deserves a suspension.
My brother, who lives around MEM and is a Grizz fan, tried to equate Green's Game 1 ejection to Brook's Game 2 mauling. Guess that's a homer reaction.

But I think Brooks should be suspended for maybe 2 games. Payton was supposed to be a key defender against Ja and we saw how it went without him last night.

BTW, Green is probably making a big donation to the NBA charitable fund soon.

I still would like him on the Mavs, but yeah... incredibly dirty play. Not only smacks him across the head but breaks his elbow.

1 game suspension is the minimum and I wouldn't be surprised if they bumped it to 2.
Brooks is in trouble, but what if that had been Steph?  I know how I would feel if that happened to Luka.  I think they have to send a message to the remaining playoff teams and make an example out of Brooks. Not holding my breath though.

Hopefully any message sent is received loud and clear by Javale McGoon before he seriously injures someone too.
He should be suspended for the remainder of the playoffs.

He made a "dirty play" but I don't think he's a "dirty player"  There is a difference. Do you think Draymond Green is a "dirty player"?  He's had his share of hard, questionable fouls.  Now Grayson Allen, he's a "dirty player" His BS has been documented since his Duke days.  Brooks plays with passion and he plays hard and is a very good defender on the perimeter.

Rest of the playoffs?? Has there ever been a case where a player was suspended the entire playoffs?

Don't care.  Let him play when GP can play again.

They'd be stupider the old MBT if they did. Jury's still out on the current MBT.
