Watching the rookie matchup between Pistons and Pacers. This draft class could end up as one of the sneaky great ones. Maybe not featuring a Luka, Ja or Zion level player but so many productive guys.
Looking at the Pistons. Is it outlandish to think that Cunningham might end up as the third best guy on his own team? Feels like Ivey and Duren are already outperforming him.
For the Pacers Mathurin already looks like their second best player. In the first two games of the season the only rookie with better numbers was Banchero.
I'm on a Hayward watch. He had an ok first game and a really good second game this season. I might be willing to add a First to a THJ/Bertans/Powell for Hayward/Rozier trade. That would put us pretty far ahead of last year's team.
There had been a lot of talk here the last few years that the Mavs missed the boat with Richaun Holmes.   It is only two games but he is coming off the bench.  He is playing around 15 minutes a game and thru two games has a total of 6 rebounds and 4 points.   Someone named Okpala is starting for Sacramento.

I don’t think we can afford Rozier but Hayward makes sense for a salary dump move a la KP. We get Hayward and expiring. They get THJ, Bertans, Green. Hayward would be expiring and we could free up space to sign wood. Hornets get better and add a young player. Ball needs shooters

Oh, I didn’t think anyone thought Rozier was worth much. I don’t see it and especially not on that 4 year deal. If Jordan truly is looking for salary relief, those two should be top priority. I forgot to add Green in the deal, but that deal saves them about $50M over the life of the contracts.

Is CHA in salary dump mode? We can hope. Trading our trash, for useful players, would be great.

Like this question. I’m giggling as I think about what’s happening in Philly right now. What are the chances of a fire sale there before the deadline?

Haven't watched DSJ play in a while but those jump shots look much more relaxed and the drive seemed more in control and relied less on his athleticism.  Good for him.
Amazing choke job by the Lakers.  Dame is so clutch.  Westbrook is the inverse.  Lakers are going to get Wenbanyama.

Relax. It´s much worse. If the Lakers get the top pick Wembanyama joins Zion.

Zero. What are the chances of a Rivers sale. 100.
Lakers 6/33 from three point range.

They don’t want to give up any post Lebron first round picks either.

No real matching salaries to trade for mid level upgrade.

They are screwed.

I’d at least call to see if they want to clear out our cap sheet and take THJ and Bertans.

Who is in worse panic mode. Lakers or 76ers?

I'd think the 76ers are more likely to make a panic trade.  Lakers are in worse shape but I think management knows this isn't salvageable.  If those goes on too much longer, they should sell AD to the highest bidder and trade LeBron to one of his preferred destinations.
76ers I think will be ok if Embiid gets in shape and they fire Doc.

Idea to go 2 for 1 isn´t bad. At least on paper. But percentage wise this is the equivalent of Dwight Powell taking jumpshots. Not a good idea at all.

I don’t think Doc survives a 5-15 type start. They have Dave Joerger on the bench.
I´m starting to think Rich Paul is an evil genius. Got Westbrook to LA, so his clients Bron/AD get out of this mess completely unscathed, when they can´t win sh*t either outside of that Bubble fluke.
