Or just a better tank commander than any other coach in the league. Successfully sabotaged Wemby and prevented him from ruining their lottery odds. Sochan playing PG and a minutes restriction for Wemby...whatever it takes.

Of course their percentage of makes was really high, but they were able to generate decent shots. I can't see Mavs being anywhere near a team as Celtics if their top two offensive players wouldn't be available.

The man has a point...

I lived in the Bay area.  Barry is such an ass.  I cringed when I saw this.

While I tend to agree with him, that stratification doesn't really end.  Can you compare Wilt to Wemby?  John Stockton to Luka?  In reality, it's position, era, but how do you deal with players who cross eras, played multiple positions, etc?

I like putting players on tiers, rather than ranking.  IMO the GOAT tier is MJ, Kareem, and LBJ.

After the 76ers' playoff loss to the Knicks, Kelly Oubre Jr. was involved in a car accident, crashing his Lamborghini when he reportedly ran a red light and collided with a Hyundai Elantra, per

“Thankfully, cops say no one reported any injuries ... however, they did say both vehicles needed to be towed from scene after sustaining damage.”

Whoa!!!

He’s done that in the playoffs once ever. In a loss. August 21, 2020. In the bubble. After Luka left early with a sprained ankle. Then missed the next 3 games with knee soreness.

Fools’ gold if ever there were such a thing. But you keep waiting for that 30 piece.

That's actually insane and Embiid should've been ejected.

He doubled down...

The Draymond special:

Not sure about this:

At that point Embiid needs to be suspended for next game. Just the 1 play on Robinson is enough for me to think that it should be upgraded to a flagrant 2. That Draymond Special and the Hartenstien groin kick should be at least a flagrant 1. 3 flagrant points is an automatic suspension.
Side note, the Nuggets are a machine. Aaron Gordon is insane with his hustle on the glass.

Basically the same script that we saw last season. Lakers up double digits in the first half. Nuggets couldn't care less and take control of the game in the second half. Unlike other teams they don't need hot 3-point shooting for comebacks. They wear opponents down. Slow and steady.
@HarrisonWind
It turns out the Lakers are not a typical 7-seed. Typically, the 7-seed is better.

I‘m wondering if LeBron is gonna bolt and this could be the end for the Davis-LeBron-Lakers when they lose in 4 or 5 games against the Nuggets for the second time.

Your opinion. I'm not defending him. But I'm also not in the business of throwing a player under the bus after a bad game. If it continues, then I guess you made your point.

They look scarier than the Celtics thus far in the playoffs.  Their bench is questionable but the starting 5 is terrifying.
I am not surprised Denver is beating LAL, but it is amazing the games are following the same path as last year playoffs. I didn't watch last nights game and have missed parts of the others, but I feel like the Lakers have played well. They get up in each game and it appears Denver just humors the Lakers until they turn it on and win the game. It must be so frustrating watching as a Lakers fan. This has been 7 playoff games in a row where they script has been the same. I am not sure who even LAL can add this offseason to make the outcome any different. Denver just appears to have a cheat code they can turn on in every game that makes the outcome come up in favor of Denver. Amazing.

That was a bad play by Embid. If Philly can win game 4, that series is going to be great for the final 3. The only thing missing is fans fighting in the stands.

I've been trying to imagine who the Lakers could trade for that would fix the mess and I don't see the solution either.  Dejounte Murray is a good player but I don't see that he's much of an upgrade over Russell-  especially as he doesn't shoot as well.  They don't have the assets for the Donovan Mitchell sweepstakes.  I think they're stuck and will only decline as Lebron approaches 40.
