Pelicans have a problem at center.
Youngmisuk] Ty Lue says Kawhi Leonard’s right knee soreness is something new that popped up after the last game. He went back to Los Angeles for better treatment. Lue hopes Leonard can play Thursday against the Nuggets

That could also be big news for our possible first round series. Sitting him against the Kings is big, let‘s see if he‘s back against the Nuggets.

To say Suns owner Matt Ishbia and Cavs owner Dan Gilbert are bitter rivals, is an understatement.

Here's more. This is crazy as hell.
Very weird, agree.

Jokic is tied for 2nd in 40-point games in franchise history.
Malachai Flynn just dropped 50 on the Hawks. This is getting out of hand.

Had the game of his life, in a loss. Most points off the bench in Pistons history. Tied for the second most pts by a player off the bench (Nick Anderson) in NBA history, and just behind Jamal Crawford who had 51 pts off the bench vs Dallas in 2019.

Reminds me of when Corey Brewer randomly had a 50 point game.

Flynn-sanity is upon us.
So the Bucks have lost to the Wizards on the road and the Grizzlies at home their last two games. Not exactly peaking. Are they going to lose in the first round? It is likely they may be matched against their old nemeses the Heat or the Sixers in the first round.

Edit: It looks like Dame and Middleton was out. That is a pretty spare looking team without them....and Dame and Middlleton haven't been great this year either. The Bucks are in a tough spot even though they resigned Giannis. Tough for them to see how they improve that roster moving forward.

The Bucks are a mess. Doc Rivers calling them out in the media doesn't help either. I get Dame and Middleton were out, but they still should have beat an undermanned Memphis team. Bad thing is, they don't have the flexibility to make moves to improve the team after giving up a lot of assets to get Dame. I give Memphis's coach a lot of credit. Even in this injury ravaged season, they play hard every game, and they're young talented players are gaining a lot of experience. They will be a team to watch next year.
Very interesting set of games today.

Sacramento plays New York. They have exact same score, yet Sacramento is 8th in the West and NY is 5th in the East (with a chance to jump at 3rd). Sacramento absolutely needs to win this in the playoff race.

Golden State plays in Houston. Houston is 3 games behind GSW in the loss column. GSW has the tiebreaker at the moment with 2 wins vs 1. But Houston has a far better division record and if they win this one, they will also own the tiebreaker. So a win puts Houston within two (still relatively far from play-in), loss puts GSW 5 games in front (because they win the tiebreaker) and ends all realistic hopes. A must win game for GSW which would allow them to calmly prepare for play-in.

Mavs will start a three game home stretch and I think they need to win at least two to control the play-off seed. The game against Atlanta is likely the easiest of the stretch. Atlanta is in fight with Chicago for 9th spot but can't neither move higer than that or lower than 10th. Atlanta can score, but they are a bad defensive team.
Julius Randle out for the rest of the season plus playoffs for a shoulder surgery
