Theo Pinson going down in NBA history already if he's getting his own rule if they go through that bench decorum thing. I'll call that the Theo Pinson rule

They were never trying to keep him. 99.9% of everything we see right now is posturing for negotiation sake.
You don't release Paschal or trade O'Neal if you're not blowing the team up. You just don't. They will keep Mitchell just until someone meets their price.
Same with KD. Same with Irving. All those dudes are getting traded.

If those Miami suckers get Mitchell..... I just can't see it though...but they always find a way.
If there is one franchise who I would not gamble on their future firsts being good, Miami is at the top of the list. Desirable player location, top developmental staff and very good front office/coach.
Herro is good, but I have no idea how good. And how much $ is he looking for in his next contract. I don't think he is a headliner in that type of trade. Lowry and Robinson are salary fillers but negative contracts.
So who else....would the Knicks really pair Mitchell with Jalen? I am sure others will pop up because Mitchell is really good. But it is going to take a ton.

I believe Mitchell is going to end up in BRK. I think any interest Miami might have in him is to the purpose of acquiring Durant.
I'm still predicting PHX, however.

three team trade for Mitchell?
Originally I thought Mitchell and Bridges to Brooklyn, KD to PHX and Utah gets Ayton and draft picks. Not sure that is enough for Utah though and it may be moot if Aytons signs an offer.

We would have much more chance with possibility to expand the Brunson to NY deal. Now we can only offer bad contracts or players we don't want to. Sadly, I think Mavs are done.

BKN can't take Mitchell without trading Simons, so more teams would be involved for sure. Or separate trade.

If Sheed took his game more seriously, he could have been one of the best 4's ever. He had the complete game along with a BBIQ. Duncan and KG have said he was their toughest matchup because he was a great one on one defender. Don't know how he fared vs Dirk, but I'm sure there were battles.
