Half of those teams don't deserve to be in the playoffs compared to some of the teams in the West that will be left out.

The West's teams from 5- 10 record aren't but a few games better than the East. It's not like they're that much better. And the East teams have suffered more injuries to key players (Mitchell, Embiid, Randle) than the West. So I disagree with your claim. However, I do agree the West is deeper, but it's quite obvious there is more parity in both conferences then it has been in a long time, which is good for the game.

Ha! But also did them 2 solids vs. Houston.

OG's defense is insane. He's made of glass but when he's out there, he's probably the best defensive forward in the league.
That's why they traded for him. If Randle wasn't out for the year, NY probably would give Boston a challenge in the East.
Charlotte is going to interview this female coach for its head coaching position.

Looks like a very good candidate.

Call me sexist, but I can't imagine a female head coach being respected enough by NBA players to actually work.

Maybe this is a new era. Maybe I'm too old fashioned. I don't know. Just my gut feeling.

I don't think you are sexist.  It's a good observation and opinion.  I disagree to an extent.  It's a tall hill to climb but I think there are a few women who can make the jump.  It also depends on how she comes in and meshes with the players.  It requires an owner with fortitude and foresight.

I base my opinion on many of the women who played in women's leagues in the same kind of competition that I played in.  I would watch like a hawk and study their techniques.  Man, were they good.  I would hone my techniques from their play.  It helped...a lot.  Same thing goes for some of the female coaches.  No...not the ones who try to mimic the worst aspects of male coaches, but the ones who study the games and utilize the players to their best abilities...rather than try to force them into a "system" that doesn't fit them.  I admit...some of the female coaches scare me.  I wouldn't want to meet them in a dark alley...
Two things in her favor.

The first is that she's already coached men and had an impact on several players at lower levels.

The second and more important issue may be that the city is Charlotte - a historically weak NBA team that never gets to see anything positive written about them. It's the kind of thing new management might gamble on.

First thought that comes to my mind is... the Becky Hammon fan club is gonna be hopping mad if their girl doesn't get it first. Tongue

Is Miles Bridges still going to be on that team?

Unrestricted free agent... but they have Bird rights I think. Not sure there's been any buzz about them offering him a new contract.

He's so disruptive, yet solid and consistent.

Self alley oops are selfish. Drummond isn't having it and goes for the dunk as well.
That Bucks/Celtics game was wild
One freethrow made in the entire game

Bucks: 1/2
Celtics: 0 attempts

Hawks doing us a solid and taking the Heat to 2OT. They'll be even more tired than we are tomorrow.
Clippers up 26-4 on Phoenix. Only Drew Eubanks has scored for the Suns. Do they think this is Game 7 or something?

Haha! Big Grin

It gives me hives when I see Andre Drummond's name mentioned in the trade thread. It's like they didn't learn from DeAndre Jordan.

Here's an NBA version of the ole "which came first, the chicken or the egg"...

Which came first, deAndre or de Drummond? Tongue

That might be one of the funniest Shaqtin moments that has ever happened.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo has avoided damage to his left Achilles tendon – a best-case outcome – and his return to play is based on treatment and rehab response for strained calf, league sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.
