Only if they increase minutes of the game while decreasing number of games.
And I doubt this will happen in my life time

Hawks/Magic games should be interesting this year.
This guy gets it. Really interesting way to cut to the heart of what wins in the NBA.

What I always wanted....

Quote:The Nets are expected to test lineups with Ben Simmons at center next season, as NetsDaily outlines. Head coach Steve Nash discussed Simmons’ unique ability to play and defend multiple positions when the 2021/22 campaign ended.

“I think he plays both (point guard and center),” Nash said. “He’s just such a well-rounded, versatile athlete and skilled player that I think it would be limiting to say, ‘Hey, you’ve got to handle the ball all the time. You have to facilitate the offense all the time.’ That’s what’s special about him is the varied skills he brings to the table.

“So, yes, he’ll facilitate and be the point guard. He’ll also sometimes be the center. Other times he’ll be the guy that’s just playing position-less basketball, trying to create offense in the halfcourt. So for me, it’s playing to his strengths, which are varied, and all those things are a part of it.”

What a mess.  KD is really pushing the limits of player empowerment.

Second, poor Igor.
Live look at the Brooklyn Nets organization:

Did he have some beef with Nash as coach that I missed?
It will never happen, but the NBA needs to fine Kevin Durant for this comment.  This kind of stuff needs to stop.  It needs to be a big fine.  If the NBA will not do this and I where the owner - I say KD we are not trading you and you are suspended for the first 10 games of the season without pay.
I mean, they have him for 4 years. Just tell him either play out the contract or sit and get fined to the poor house. Whatever Ujiri is doing up there in Toronto is working cause Siakam asked out a couple years ago and now OG is asking out with no trade yet. Other than that, stick to your guns on the asking price for trading him.

At this point the worst the Nets could do is fine KD and he would probably appeal.

The power move the Nets have is if KD says he won't play or show up then the Nets hold him to it.  He doesn't earn a paycheck nor clock service time.  If he does show up then he has to play (though Simmons proved that isn't technically the case).  Really interesting scenario because the only loser is the Nets because no matter what KD hits their cap.
I don’t think this means anything but still a funny tweet.

I get heir stance on Nash, but Sean Marks has generally done good job.
Maybe his biggest issue was trusting Durant and Kyrie to run the team.

My favorite part is how Durant hand picked Nash.
