So America is upset about a guy holding a gun?  Rolleyes

That's actually so heartbreaking for the guy. Achilles is no joke.

He's gone until 2024 at the minimum.

Not to mention Steven Adams is still out. Rough times for the Grizz...
Sixers stop the Bucks 16 game win streak,  133-130 behind a 48 pt 4th qtr. Harden finished with 38 pts, Embiid had 32. Giannis had 34 and Jrue Holiday had 26. Big road win for Philly.
It makes me feel a bit better knowing Boston and Milwaukee are also fully capable of blowing big leads. It's not just Dallas!
NY/Boston was a great game won by NY in double OT, 131-129. Quickley led them with a career high 38 pts replacing JB who sat out with a sore foot. 9 straight wins for the Knicks who are making some noise in the East.
Knicks are a better team than the Mavs. Who would have thought. Most of it is coaching and of course because the Knicks have gotten the better of the Mavs a couple of times with player moves.

Wasn't it Julius Randle's dream to play for his hometown Mavs?
But I guess we'd stupidly be playing him at center as the only big if he was here.

I really like Ja as a player. I truly hope he can get this under control before he blows his future hall of came career and billion plus in career earnings. I don't care for some of the things he does and says, but he's an amazing player and fun to watch.

KP's reaction is gold
Lots of interesting moments from the Warriors game tonight.

The Draymond thing is outright terrible though. Dude is fed up with Poole and left his team high and dry.

It's absolutely hilarious. Nothing is funnier than a player trying for that Steph 3 and the bricking completely.
For a long time the Lakers have been one of the best team on late first round picks, second rounders and undrafted guys.    They have done it again with last year undrafted Austin Reeves.  He is playing like a first rounder.

Talent is out there to find.  I wish the Mavs were better at this.  Hardy, I think, is a hit.  But the Mavs need to find more.  DFS and Maxi were a long time ago.

They pursued three max players in Lebron, AD, and Westbrook, leaving mostly minimum salaries to fill out the roster.  So it was much easier for marginally talented rookies and young players to find playing time.

Remember all the THT hype?

And Caruso actually turned out to be a decent, middle-of-the-road NBA player.  Of course, they couldn't afford him at that point.

So Austin Reeves landed in an ideal spot for his development.  He benefits from all the double-teams their superstars get, and has very little pressure to perform.  Anything the team gets from him is gravy.  And his competition for playing time is minimal.

Will he be a solid rotational piece on a good NBA team?  Time will tell.

I think you just answered your own question.  Kid was undrafted too.

I swear Ballmer does a bump of cocaine before any media presser.
