Condescending at times, but he gets it.

Orlando is a team to watch. Vastly improved.

Lowered his 10-day moving average last night.
Giddey discussion was moved to the more appropriate RotW forum.

In this forum we discuss how horrible Dwight Powell and THJ are for the team and get updates on what Wood is doing and how horribly JKidd treated him last year.

That discussion was also taking a turn for the worse. Can we keep in mind that we all hate Mark Cuban please? Direct all hate there!
I get PTSD watching Bitadze/Mo Wagner against Boston. 29 points for Mo on 9/12. Cry

They played Porzingis off the court. Officially it´s a calf-injury, but I think he´s butthurt. Big Grin

Oh boy Isaac is down again and up.

On the theme of cheap bigs. I think we should give Kai Jones a chance. His athletic ability can easily absorb an additional 20 pounds and you got another center, Lively 2.0. We have already spoken about the Doncic factor. Jones clearly has athletic ability in abundance and his footwork is excellent. He just needs to accept that he´s a Jarrett Allen, not a Kevin Durant.

You can sense the underlying self-confidence that might make him his worst own enemy, but if you connect with him on a personal level and he grows a little, it could be a massive steal.

Bitadze is a good example. Clashed with coaches in Indiana. You can still see the crazy here and there in Orlando, but he has the 3rd best net rating in the league now and is finding his role. Mosley is a seriously good coach, we lost.

At the minimum it´s a no brainer to upgrade PF/C with an athletic monster.

Based on what we saw in LA, I'm thinking we should give Holmes a chance.

Haven't you been preaching Bitadze for a while now?  I thought he was KP... kant play, but I was wrong.

It´s not a knock on Holmes. Can never have enough talent. Orlando picked up Bitadze, when they had WCJ, Mo Wagner, Isaac, Bamba and BolBol under contract.

I think Markieff is sort of the Kyrie whisperer, which is probably why the Mavs are so hesitant to make moves. Look at how much we improved just with Lively compared to Powell.

If it does not work out, you just waive him.

You know Mosley is a seriously good coach, when he coaches the team to play to the final whistle, cause point differential counts in the in-season tournament between them and Boston. That´s next level awareness for Americans that haven´t grown up with football/soccer.
Denver is going through a tough stretch. They got beat by Houston, 105 -86. They better hurry up and get Murray back. Houston is getting coached up, and it's starting to show.

Did you know that Porzingis leads the NBA in technical fouls with 8? You didn’t know, because nobody talks about it.

It’s funny how wearing a green jersey makes you immune from media scrutiny. If this was Luka now, Lowe and Bill Simmons would be talking about it all the time.

SloHoopsFan woke up and decided to drop massive amounts of facts today.

Luka is judged on a different scale than us mortals. Dude is so good that the media just wants to hate on him.
Clippers lose last night to New Orleans. Now it looks like New Orleans and Houston are in good position in the play-bracket. Imagine that. I believe Dallas has been eliminated.

The Clippers play the Mavs tonight on a back to back. Most of their players played heavy minutes. In years past, that would typically mean a rest day for Leonard. But the Clippers are 6-8 and really need to start playing better. Don't think they can throw games away. We will see what happens tonight. Mavs will be without Lively.
So the pistons have 2 wins for the year and are on a 14 game losing streak. They are losing by almost 29 to the wizards at home. Ouch.

They won’t stop playing Killian Hayes, so they deserve it. What a colossal waste of a pick.

Only played 10 minutes tonight. He was ass for sure but he wasn't the reason why they lost.

They look to be in an incredible funk and I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with them.

As an aside, Ausaur Thompson might be the best defensive player I've seen for the last decade and that is not hyperbole.
Nuggets beat Clippers without Jokic, Murray, and Gordon. Deandre Jordan with 21/13/5. Didn’t even know he was still in the league.

Clippers really had that Mavs game circled for some reason.
Important to remember that it is not only the Mavs who lay stinkers.  Lakers lose by over 40 to the Sixers. Pelicans lose to the Jazz and the hot Pacers lose to the Trail Blazers.  Plus the Clippers.

Man, I just saw Reggie Jackson who was a Clipper last year (was he waived last year?) scored 35 and had 13 assists for Denver.  On 15-19 shooting.  Wow.

Interesting take. How many coaches in the league are actually allowed to coach? How many are more powerful than the players? Pop. Spoelstra. Maybe Kerr? And why are those teams more successful?
NBA teams are going all out on analytics and scouting but for some reason they aren't doing the same thing when it comes to coaching. X's and O's don't matter. Relationships matter more than anything else. It's a players league.
Doesn't matter that Nash has no coaching experience. When it comes down to it Durant or Irving make the decisions. Doesn't matter that Kidd's X's and O's aren't good enough. He is beloved by the players. Doesn't matter that Doc Rivers is unable to make ingame adjustments. He has coached all the greats.

He was traded for Bones.
With two wins I. The year and on a 14 game losing streak the Pistons are down 30 to the lakers at home

$78 million doesn’t buy what it used to.
