Incredible myopic-ness given that it was basically him and Harden shitting the bed and everyone else carried them.
Seems like half the league will change coaches.

For Mavs to replace Kidd with Rivers? Smile
Bye-Bye Doc...

Kinda crazy, really.  A lot like Monty Williams.

Both stand-up guys, and have performed at a high level, but expectations were even higher.

Or perhaps, one or more of the superstars on those two teams were unhappy with the coach.  And it's a lot easier to replace a coach than a superstar.

Doc is a fraud. Still living off the Celtics run in 2008 and even that was more about Thibs defensive scheme.

Even when said superstars don't show up in the most important game of year.
Both teams can't really do much else but change coaches. Replacing stars is not really easy and at least in Philly, supporting cast can't really be much better. Both teams melted down several times under same coach. So the hope is, that the new coach can bring the best out of stars in those moments.
I don't understand this for Cavs. Don't they need a shooting wing? Powell also mentioned as one option

My proposal. Trade THJ and #10 for Allen and them screw them by giving Powell a 15 mil contract, effectively preventing them from signing him. Boy they would be screwed Smile
7 minutes into game one of the WCF Ayton isn´t looking as bad as he did just a few days ago. Jokic is bullying AD.
8pts 12reb (6off) 4ast 1blk in 9 minutes.

If Jokic goes through the NBA (umpired) wet dream of Durant vs. LeBron/GSW and then Boston vs. LA-LeBron to win the title, he deserves a lot of credit. Would be another singular title worth more than the two Durant leeched of Steph.
19, 16, and 7 at halftime
what a madman
Wonder if the MVP voters are still bored of voting for Jokic.

That’s the only interest I have left in this season. I’m hoping to see him cram that boredom right down all the talking heads’ throats.

Would love to see a post game interview that features Mark Jackson and Jokic.
Joker is clearly the best player in the NBA.

AD held his own with 40 pts, 10rebs, 3 blks. Not being bullied to me. Lakers came up short though, 132-126

They started to double and switched AD off Jokic. Put Hachimura on Jokic with AD shadowing him.  Hoping that the Nuggets would miss wide open looks but at least preventing Jokic from playing bully ball in the paint.
First half was brutal. He was pushing AD around. Had 6 off reb in the first quarter. Scored at will. In the second half they forced him to play a more perimeter orientated game.
