Great day today with the Suns lose and Mavs win.  But more important I learned a new word today.

Good point. Silver seems to have consensus in moving the rules this direction. It’s often unwatchable in the league with how slanted the rules are for the offense. Something must be done. This will take Luka to an even higher level. He doesn’t get the calls now as it is, compared to his peers. The ppg data with free throws taken out is very telling. SGA and Ja type players i would think would suffer. Also more injury prone players like Embiid and older players dealing with a more physical game would be a recipe for trouble

I am fine with whatever result against Denver, but next five games will be very important. Two against Utah, against Spurs and then two crucial games against Sacramento. 5 wins could lift us in the top6. Ideal scenario imho would be for Denver to finish 1st, Clippers 4th and Mavs 6th.
Yep.
1. Denver
2. OKC/MIN
3. OKC/MIN
4. LAC
5. Pels
6. Mavs
7. Sac
8. Sons
9. Fakers
10. Dubs

This is possible. Pretty reasonable actually. Even if LAC is 3 i like our chances if Denver is on the other side of the bracket

I think there’s a chance the Clippers could fall out of the top 4. They are on a bad stretch right now.
1/8 vs. 4/5
2/7 vs. 3/6

Bracket-wise doesn´t really matter whether we finish 6th or 7th as long as we win the first play-in immediately. And yeah OKC/Min/Sac is probably the best we can hope for.

Lost 4 of 5 including losing pretty bad to the Hawks at home last night.   The Pelicans are right on their heels.   It looks like the Clipps had most of their players last night.  I am sure they will be fine.  Things always work out for the Clippers in the end. Smile
For the Mavs, 14 games left. 4 games in the lost column separates 4th seed from 8th seed. If we take last night's momentum knowing that this team post trades can compete with anyone, a huge run could ensue. Record projections for the last 14 games?

I predict 11-3.
I remember how confident I felt after the Mavs rattled off 7 straight wins. I was thinking about them going off and winning the rest of the season.

After that, I'm very cautious about this team. Seen it time and again this year how bipolar this team can be.

Anthony Edwards completely destroys John Collins on what is probably the most vicious dunk of the year.
If the scales tip towards allowing more defensive freedom then I want us to move into the early 2nd for sure and snag Zach Edey. He will dominate with defensive freedom and make Wemby his biatch as he knocks him around like a rag doll.

The Pelicans are quietly making noise in the West. They're just a 1/2 game behind the Clippers for the 4 seed, and they won the season series with them 3 -1. Zion has lost weight and is finally healthy and looking like the player we all expected when he was drafted.
