Jay Huff wow. He can really move his feet. I'd be disappointed at this point if the Mavs summer league roster doesn't feature him.
Both of these dudes are better than Dwight...

Especially for what they could bring to the Mavs. We need rebounding, shot blocking, paint presence, etc. Dwight gives none of that.
Anyone have any favorites you are rooting for in the playoffs? Care? I think in the West I am pulling for Sacramento and Golden State. Sure Golden State ended our dream last year and have won plenty, but I still really enjoy their style of play. I think I will be rooting against Memphis and the Clippers.
For the East, I think I will root for Milwaukee. I wish I could root for Jalen and the Knicks, but this year has been too tough. So even though I will always be a Jalen fan, I will be rooting for a round 1 loss. I will be rooting against Boston and Philly as well.
Mil and Mem are my teams I’ll be rooting for. I like the GSW style of play too, but in order to get a shakeup from them they need to have a 1st round exit. Not fully sure I want Green, but the option would be nice to have. I don’t like the outside the game trash talking from some of the Mem players and I don’t like Ja’s outside the game behavior, but they also play a nice hard nosed style of basketball that I wish we would employ more players for. If Markieff was actually a player, he would have been a start to that style.

Can't say I'm surprised at all. Even the amount is a bit low. I'd figure at least 1.5 mil given the coach blatantly said it.
Finally can put this BS to bed. The entire league does it and the Mavs get penalized for 2 games just because we have a loud mouth. NBA didn't want to open the can of worms if they actually gave a punishment that had some teeth.
Next year, 50% of those fines are going to the players. Kidd is gonna be the player’s favorite coach ever! Cuban will be their favorite owner too!
I wonder whether this could open the league to a legal liability. They basically admitted to bettors that the Mavs/Bulls game was fixed. It´s amazing and disappointing that the league puts up with all the BS of Cuban.

Right.
Bettors generally have no earthly idea whether a team is tanking or not.

I mean the Head Coach has DV history too soo...
Bridges the player would be great. Unfortunately Bridges the person can’t be an option for us. What is the fallout of them signing him though? Is PJ Wash available? I have him as the new upgraded (starter) Kleber.
Miles Bridges would fit in perfectly with the culture that Mark Cuban has fostered into the Mavs organization. At the very least Cynt has a tremendous amount of experience with these types of PR hits since joining the Mavs. I might not have respect for the person, but I do believe in rehabilitation and second chances. It would also be the type of around-the-edges move I've campaigned for us to operate within. I might not be happy with the move but this team should be desperate.

Bridges is an RFA. Doubt he's going to be available for free, and I'd rather the Mavs stay away from that media PR nightmare.
Yeah, he's a PR nightmare in the short term. But depending on his attitude, fans will forgive him. If he shows a little humility and repentance, the stigma will fade. Tiger Woods, anyone?? Kobe?
I think his value in Charlotte is the lowest of any NBA city, simply because the fans there feel most betrayed by his hurtful behavior. So they've got pretty strong motivation to trade him. The question is which team will offer the most.
From a money perspective, he's cheap at $4m for his final year. So Dallas can't send a big-salary player unless there are other players involved. Hayward and Bridges for Timmy and Bertans??
