How dominant has the T-Wolves' defense been?

Fear no wolves, for Maxi art with thou. Stretch 5s are the kiss of death to that D.

I am not trying to discount his experiences and whatever he's dealing with, but at some point you have an obligation and are being paid an incredible (literal mind bending) amount of money a week to do said obligation.

I agree.  I'm also grateful we did not trade for Andrew Wiggins.  He was finally playing better recently and the Warriors are winning.  Now, he is unable to play for some personal reason.  The recurring "personal" problems makes it seem like it's either mental-health or substance abuse related.  Both are serious problems and require empathy and support.  As you say though, I wouldn't want to pay an employee $25 million per year to not work.  I'm glad he is the Warriors problem and I hope they enjoy the play-in.
GSW has been on an incredible roll lately and are only one game behind Mavs now. Mavs will play them 3 times till end of the season. West play-in will be brutal

Everyone in the Western playoff bracket was 5-5 or better the last 10 games. Most teams were 7-3 or 8-2. Its going to be a dogfight to avoid the playin
The 5 games between Sacramento and Golden State are must wins. Basically have to win those to avoid the play in.

We also play two games at OKC and one at home against the Nuggets - those 8 games are probably the hardest remaining games on our schedule.

The other 14 games are more or less winnable, because we’re either playing an inferior opponent or playing at home like the next two games against the Sixers or Pacers, with the exception of the away game at the Heat maybe.

So best case could be what, winning 17 of 22 games maybe, going 5 for 8 on the top games and 12 for 14 on the others?

That would put us at 51 wins and probably in the top 4, shouldn’t it?
Phoenix rest of season games:
OKC x2
MIN x2
CLE x2
BOS x2
LAC x2
NOP x2
DEN x2
@MIL
@SAC
PHI

These are all almost consecutive sandwiched around a 3 game stretch vs ATL, SAS, SAS. Only 2 random games mixed in vs TOR and CHA that give them a break

No way they finish ahead of us
Within a couple weeks i think Phoenix will slide down to their final position of 9th. Setting up a 9/10 vs the Lakers

Golden State looks to be surging. Could easily be 5/6

The top 4 looks set, but in what order? Clippers have a tough schedule and have had recent injury worries. Maybe they settle for 4 and coast

Down the stretch it seems like New Orleans and Sacramento are the wild cards. I like our chances at 5/6

Or he has a very ill family member that has good and bad days. That will impact your performance, and sure seems a lot more logical than an on/off substance abuse. He´s addicted a week and then not the next? Monk went away for 10 months to clean his act up.
At least Boston is returning the favour and looks like beating GSW. Up by 44 at halftime. Incredible 82 vs 38

Final- 140-88. And KP sat this one out. Boston is a well-oiled machine right now. 1st team in NBA history with 3 50 pt wins in the same season.
Weird looking injury. Not sure what he hurt

It is only one game, but Grant has 17 pts, 13 boards and 5 assists (and 6 turnovers).

He is on a bad team but he never remotely got close to that here.

And the Knicks still won without him. That was a gritty win with all their injuries.
Honestly hope the best for JB.

That video looked scary. Lots of people online calling it drop foot and that it happens in the MMA after repeated kicks to the knee. Only thing is that was a non contact injury.

Seriously hope he's good.

He's fine. It's just a knee bruise and it wasn't actually non contact. He bumped knees with the defender as he went up. X-rays were negative.

Grant has low key been amazing for the Hornets. It's making me wonder if he just wasn't a good fit under Kidd. Or if he just couldn't gel with Luka and Kyrie.
@BillSimmons
Horrible offensive foul call on SGA.

Reviewed as a flagrant.

Determined not to be a flagrant.

OKC then challenges the call.

Second review of the same foul. Overturned.

Elapsed time: 5 minutes,

The NBA hates us.
The Kings really just imploded. They were up 22 at one point late in the 3rd and still up I believe 15 going into the 4th. What then occurred was some of the sloppiest basketball I've ever seen from the Kings, where they decided to just try and throw any shot up from an iso crossover while Demar Derozan lit them up in the 4th.

DeRozan played all 12 minutes in the 4th. He went 7 for 7 from the field, 4/4 from the FT line and scored 19 points. He was a monster.

Chicago somehow wins this game.

So was Coby White who had a career high 37 pts.

Lakers are climbing the ladder. Only a game behind the Mavs. This is going to be fun watching all these teams battle down the stretch.
