Nets fans already having buyer's remorse over DFS after some early shooting struggles (they got absolutely rocked last night).  I have concerns that he won't be nearly as effective in a different system but also wonder if there is an avenue to bring him back this offseason.  No one better to fill DFS' absence from our roster than with the man himself in my opinion.

By the Stackhouse rule, for us to get him back this offseason, the Nets would have to trade him to someone else, and then we could trade for him with that team.

Ah, I thought the stackhouse rule was limited to players returning to a team after buyout.
Stein had a tweet saying DFS could return after July 1st. However, I’m not really interested in paying assets to get him back. If they decide he’s worth Bertans expiring (and Nico has to include a second round pick in every trade he makes, so…) and the 25 2nd, sure, but I want to exhaust all other possibilities to get younger there first.

Nets had a brutal game last night.

I’m with you that potentially getting somewhat younger there would be nice (I was in the camp that felt giving up draft capital for Vanderbilt would have been worth it), but I do think that Finney has enough in the tank throughout his current contract to still be a great contributor here.

Mavs could trade for DFS after the NBA season ends (and they end on June 30). The particulars of the rule you are thinking of has to do with DFS being waived by BKN, and of course that's not going to happen.

Nice, this was my understanding.
Great Celtics vs Sixers game. With a fantastic ending.  After watching the clippers and Kings last night and this game tonight, the game seemed so fast.  Up and down the floor.  I am so glad the mavs have been playing at a faster pace recently.  I hope it continues.

Am I crazy to think that Embiid did the usual I don´t want to hurt my percentages move?

Either way, Embiid is a monster that we'll be facing shortly. Easily the most dominant big in the league along with Giannis who I guess can be classified as one.
Great game between Suns and Bucks. Jrue Holiday led the Bucks with 34 pts to their 14 straight win, 104- 101 minus Giannis. He got a key stop on Booker to help preserve the win. I love that guy. He doesn't get talked about enough.

Nice move Hawks.  Way to support the NBA's promotion of Black History Month.
Dame has 41 pts at halftime vs Houston  13-19, 8-11 from 3 in 19 mins.
Historic night for Dame. He went 22-38 from the field, 13-22 from 3, 14-14 ft's for 71 pts in a 131-114 win vs Houston. Oldest player ever with a 70 pt game (32)  5th game in his career with 60 or more pts trailing only Wilt and Kobe. In his last 20 games, he's averaging 40 ppg.  2nd 71 pt game this season. Crazy..

Wow...that is impressive.  The first team All NBA is going to be a battle down the stretch.   I would think 2-3 spots are accounted for, I think.    But a lot can happen the last two months of the year.
OKC decided to keep Saric and waived Eugene.   This opens up a spot.  Eugene got a few guaranteed dollars when OKC signed him to a real contract a few weeks ago.

OKC is the opposite of the Mavs.  They created an open spot and it will be interesting to see what they do with it.  When they picked up Isiah Joe it was a steal.   Unlike the Mavs, who look for geezers.
