Is Bron going on his annual performance enhancing winter vacation, to re-fill his empty tanks. The rest will do him some good, but not sure the Lakers can afford it, given the start shooting 29/17/75 in the first quarter. AD is even more overrated than KD as a #1 options. Both, AD/KD, made smart career choices, cause otherwise they´d be rated as ring-less "losers" like Malone, Barkley or Webber, instead they are historically overrated.

Toradol is a NSAID, not a narcotic.

GS is now deciding they want the trade - but you owe us a pick or something. Given that their main purpose was to get out from under Wiseman's contract, I think they already got what they bargained for. We'll see what NBA says.

Doesn't the Warriors have to prove that the Blazers knowingly withheld info?

Not sure how cut and dry this process is.
Lakers might only be 2 1/2 games behind the 10th seed with 24 games left, but they have to overtake three teams just to get into the play-in.

Aaaaaaand this is why Simmons is gonna be out of the league at the end of his contract. Can't have a player willingly pass up open layups like this, this often.

Two years ago, I really was intrigued with some of the second round bigs.  I was hoping Dallas would buy a pick.    Not sure if any will turn into plus players, but a few have proven they will stick around a little.

Bassey was one.   Jericho Sims was another.  Sando Mamukelashvilli was another.  Hardy is a real nice gamble this past year, but I think there were several undervalued bigs who would have been interesting low cost investments.   Sort of building around the edges that I wished we spent more time on.   Maybe Nico will be different.

Is this an open layup? One guy on his hip and Hartenstein rotating over. Looks more like the typical spacing issue with a non shooting big next to Simmons.
Replace Claxton with a shooter and Hartenstein cannot cover both.
I'm surprised that the Nets aren't doing a buyout of Curry. It would save them some LT and its not like they need him as a wing.
nets are trapped in a dilemma. they're supposed to rebuild now that they've traded away their stars, but they ain't got no picks to tank for. therefore they're just gonna play as good as they can and make the playoffs most likely, only to get bounced 1st round.

Pause it at 4 seconds and you tell me. Hartenstein was rotating over but the lane is wide open. Simmons took an extra beat to rise up instead of going straight into Hartenstein. At 5 seconds Hartenstein is still moving and if Simmons just went up for the shot it was wide open airspace. But he had to use his right hand to do it. It would've been a layup or almost certainly a foul. But Simmons didn't want any of that smoke.

The fact he actively avoids shot attempts is the problem. He is never looking to score so defenses never have to try.

They really fared better than expected after the trades. They've got some nice pieces to work with, and they finally have a good coach who was right under their nose all along.
Celtics depth is on another level. NoTatum, Brown, Horford, Smart. Still forced OT against the Bucks.

That was a crazy high arching 3 by Boston to send it to OT

Hauser was a great find. Elite shooter on a cheap contract.
The Clippers look like they are going to be really tough come playoff time. They added some nice pieces.

I thought their trade for Mike Muscala was sneaky brilliant. I feel like he's gonna have some big moments for them.

In other news, Anfernee Simons just rolled his ankle pretty badly. Blazers commentators hoped this wouldn't take him out for the season.
