Viewership and attendance is up, actually, while it's down in the MLB, NFL, and NHL.  That's impressive given the competition is now more than 3 major networks, not to mention expansion of sports (xgames, mls, nwsl, mma, etc, etc).

I admit my view on Silver might be the minority.

I disagree on his handling of BLM but its hard to argue the other points.

Still, I don't think we've seen just how much damage sports betting is going to have on this league and Silver's hands are all over that one. Time will tell.

Also F him still for putting ads on jersey's.
Remember when we were all pining for Capela...?

Well imagine watching this vs. the ferocious assaults we're seeing with Gafford and Lively.

How can Westbrook have a serious argument with a grown man wearing a balloon hat?

We definitely are much better off and both Gafford and Lively are better than Caphella now. Bonus is we stay younger too. Our cap is also better off and it looks like we got the bigs we really needed who fit best with the overall team concept that works best since we got a top 5 defense as a result of the moves and our top 3 offense to go with that is making me think we need to start figuring out how to match up better with Boston.

Impressive numbers Sunday by these 4 players.

BLM... how can you disagree with the results?  It was masterfully managed, made the NBA a more inclusive league, and stirred up the NBA fervor going into the bubble.  Again, look at how the NBA has been expanded; his handling of BLM was a part of that.

Ads on jerseys???  Who cares?  Soccer has the biggest fanbase in the world, yet their kits look like less gawdy NASCAR fire suits (ask Ricky Bobby...)

Again, the things you are ranting about are what 98% of the fanbase wants.

Ya, Capela was an awful idea.  I said it then that within 2 years he'd be Andre Drummond.  Um...  he wishes, lol.

Those abnormally tiny ears of his act like satellite dishes.  The fact he's arguing with a man wearing a balloon hat looks like a SNL skit.

There is a simple rule, when it comes to defense. Catch it on the way up, not the way down. Capela was already on the way down. Now that the refs are starting to call games more fairly, the lesser names will benefit.

I never wanted the tiniest bit of Capela!
He is like the player I wanted the least on the Mavs next to Harden.
