Looks like Big Perk is up for a promotion after mass layoffs at ESPN.

ESPN might be run worse than the Mavericks.

Here's a shocker, MJ's son dating Scottie Pippen" ex-wife. Maybe that's why Pippen has been trashing MJ in the media.
Saw the Celtics signed Delano Banton, formerly with the Raptors.

I also saw the Bucks signed Robin Lopez. I wonder if that was a part of the negotiation with Brook. Poor Holiday. Couldn't even get one of his brothers to Milwaukee Smile
That's actually hilarious.
Kendrick Perkins is proof of IQ affirmative action.
Bol bol waived. Any interest?
Really interested to see what Minnesota does moving forward. You can make the case outside of the Gobert trade that they have made really solid moves all the way around.

But they are looking for max/near max long term commitments for Edwards, Kat and Gobert.

McDaniels is next and he is a 20-25 million guy probably. He is eligible to be extended so maybe you can him a tad lower now, but if you wait he is going to have a lot of suitors…even as an RFA.

This year they have Conley at 24 who will be a free agent after the season. Naz Reid signed for 12/13 million per year. Kyle Anderson and Monte Morris are in the final years at around 10 million per year.

There has been a lot of talk about a Kat trade, but will they ever get true value/cap relief back from him. The reports are they want to run it back and that is probably a good idea. But another year of Gobert disappointing and he may be really, really hard to move. Plus, is there enough time for Gobert, KAT and Reid getting at least 25 minutes a night?

They are a team sort of in a weird spot. Good youngsters with a star, a team that really needs to compete and have success in the playoffs, and a team with some really high paid players.
Mavs just hired a former Jazz coach who is, allegedly, behind Gobert's development. Could be to help develop Lively, or maybe Gobert is in the Mav's picture.

All the Warriors had a problem with Jordan Poole.

At Naz Reid’s contract extension press conference, Chris Finch said Reid’s role will be as a backup 4 and a backup 5, but that he isn’t ruling out playing Reid, Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert all at the same time.

All the Warriors had a problem with Jordan Poole.

Almost makes it sound like they had no issues with a teammate sucker punching and knocking someone unconscious.   Disgusting but sadly that is how team power dynamics work. People always try to suck up to the bigger star even though he might be scum.
I have to say I'm totally blown away at the progress they have made since the last draft. Drafting Hardy was "the" steal of the draft last year. That kid already is looking like a potential star. At worst he will be a very good rotation player from what we've seen so far. This draft with O-max and Lively were great moves. Length and defense along with smart heady players.

They resigned Kai at what I consider a deal compared to what it could have been. Now Grant Williams. I'm just blown away. They get a playoff caliber starting C and this team is going to be completely remade and stout this year.
I love the Williams move. He is a tough minded professional player who fits a need. He has his warts but to use one of RC’s fav phrases…he plays with force. Next up Thybulle. Load the team with professional hard nosed players. Only one team wins it all. I can live with us not winning it all but if I have a uka and Kyrie team and hard nosed players around them, I can watch them every night and live with the results.

AND, the team is YOUNG all of a sudden, with the arrow pointed in the right direction again.
