Our very own Tank Commander hit the game winner.
John Wall looks good. Still has that speed.
Send them THJ, Bertans, and Powell for Westbrook

Release Westbrook
Send them THJ, Bertans and Powell and let Westbrook rub the second unit.

That be half-assing it. If you do that trade you send out everything. THJ + Dinwiddie + Bertans + Kleber for two unprotected first round picks. You tank for a top 5 pick, create two max cap slots for 2023 and build up four future unprotected 1st round picks for a trade.

Tanking with this team is impossible with a healthy Luka, and you're not going to get him to sit if he's healthy. Too competitive. Luka and 11 scrubs wins at least 38 games, which is too many for strong chances for a top 5 pick. Throw in Wood and you have even more tanking problems.

WUT

Sending out THJ, Bertans, and Powell probably makes us better.

Not sure how the logical progression from that is tanking.
Lakers seemed to be willing defenders last night with a certain squad on the floor...it was for sure LeBron, AD and Walker.  I guess it was Pat Bev too.   But all 5 were playing hard at the end and giving Clips tough shots...they just hit them but Lakers were in their face from what I remember.  Doesnt mean Lakers are a good team though.

They would take a hit defensively hard...but I could see THJ or Bertans killing it with Lebron.  Vets who understand the game and Lebron feeding them.   They have Luka now who does same thing....but LeBron is older and much wiser.  I could see LeBron making THJ or Bertans look good.   But those contracts.
They may not be ready to win but I really like the makeup of the Detroit team.  Bogdanovich looks greatToo.  I still think he would have fit in well here.

I just really wish Dallas played at a faster pace.  I see all these teams running and it is really fun to watch the up and down.

Well Detroit just subbed there bench and and that is the problem.  Not much there after the starters with Duren out too.

Knicks playing a fun style of ball.  Fast and lots of ball movement

I am convinced this is 100% a Luka factor. He would not be able to play 35 mins at a faster pace. He just doesn't have the conditioning and body for that. The Mavs slow it down because it is best for Luka.
Yeah really thought scouts were sleeping on Koloko.

Turned on the hornets game and it may have been the only thing he has done in the game but DSJ had three nice plays.  Looks really quick and is in good shape.
Pelicans are good. Rockets will be much improved and we already know about the Grizzlies. That's why it hurts to lose a game that was very winnable against the Suns, even though it was just the first game. Can't afford to waste opportunities like that

At least the Mavs picked the right guy between DSJ and Ntilikina. :P

If Markkanen keeps f´n up the space mission, maybe we can send Ainge THJ in a straight swap. That will put the space ship back on course. :D

Drummond/Dragic +40 in a loss. Or as we call them: One McGee.
If Carlisle comes back from down 10 in the last minute of the Spurs game, they should fire him immediately. Big Grin
