Ayton sounds happy.

In other random news, Fanspo indicates that Ayton will be eligible to be traded after October12th. I think that might be wrong and it's a few months later, which I'm sortof rooting for because I want to see Phoenix implode first.

If Suns twitter is any kind of accurate representation of how things are going over there, the Suns are in for a rough season.
Supposedly Udoka was diddling the wife of the team's VP.  That's some Costanza level career sabotage.

@"F Gump" had the logic of this (re Mavericks) first. Kudos.

Outside of the Ayton grumblings, the Sarver scandal, Crowder wanting out, CP3 looking old, and getting embarrassed in the playoffs, I'd say things are looking pretty good in Phoenix.

For real, for real....
I think the standings vs. Which teams are actually best will look different this year. No way does GSW try too hard in the regular season. I could see them being the best team but finishing 4-5-6. To me it’s LAC that looks like the team that will run away with the 1 seed and also be a favorite. Minnesota is a team that will finish high in the standings but be garbage in the playoffs when Gobert gets played off the floor, so the opposite of GSW. Phoenix is a team primed for implosion. So are LAL. Memphis has injuries to Jackson and lost depth. Denver and Dallas are high floor teams that should finish top 6. New Orleans is a big wild card

1. LAC
2. DEN
3. PHX
4. MIN
5. DAL
6. GSW

7. MEM
8. NOP
9. LAL
10. POR

With 3-8 close in the standings. Phoenix and Minnesota lose 1st rd
Man I wish the Mavs would have traded up for Eason....

the Knicks got a steal

It is weird hearing how NBA media is talking about contracts now.  Everything is built around the future tv deal and how there will be players making 80 plus million a year.   And how 6-8 million will be almost minimum deals.

It seems whenever these new deals are signed, the future TV deal and salary explosion is always brought up.
