That he himself typed up.
My pre-preseason tier list assuming Dame to Miami goes through.

Just like everyone was predicting all summer…..Lillard goes to Milwaukee.  Ha

So we can stop the Ayton talk as he will probably be in Portland for a while….but Jrue probably isn’t staying in Portland

So, PHX was so interested in getting off of the massive mistake of Ayton's contract, they're willing to publicly admit they'd rather just have Nurkic.

Good God, am I glad the Mavs didn't cave to public stupidity and make a deal for that clown.
So Jrue is over 30 and a free agent after the year. He is damn good still though. What type of offer does he bring back? Two firsts and a young player? Or is it more the Kyrie package?

Portland what could be intriguing firsts and pick swaps in 4-6 years from now. Those could be good. But maybe not. They better hope Ayton is a foundation piece and they get a big haul for Jrue.

A couple first from Miami, plus swaps plus their two youngsters and Herro may be the better offer. Makes me think they never offered that or Portland just didn't want to send him to Miami.
Updated tier list lol

Seems like Jrue's destination is the holdup. I think your estimate of the cost is a little rich, but as you say, he's still a good player.

I'd love him in Dallas, but probably not a fit with Kyrie.
Bucks receive: Damian Lillard

Blazers receive: Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, 2029 first round pick, 2 pick swaps

Suns receive: Jusef Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Keon Johnson, Nasir Little

Edit: also some dude named Toumani Camara going to POR

Blazers looking to trade Jrue immediately
Damn good all in move by the Bucks and keeping Giannis happy, as well.

Still kept Middleton as well. Bucks should be one of the favorites.
Am I crazy, or was the package MIL had to pay a little light?

I honestly think MIA could've matched that, so I'd be pretty pissed if I were a Heat fan.

Seems light to me. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Miami thought Portland was bluffing and would fold.
Portland didn't let Dame dictate the trade. They traded him to who provided them what they needed or wanted. They were all in on Ayton when other teams weren't. They will move Jrue Holiday I've heard for more assets. They are going with their young players. Phoenix added depth getting Nurkic, Nasir Little, Keon Johnson and Greyson Allen. Phoenix did well in this trade also.

I agree. Everyone who doesn't end up having to pay Ayton will tie for 1st place in this trade.
The Bucks backdoored everybody, and now they have to be considered one of the favorites. I never even considered them. Last I heard, Toronto was in the mix to land him. Miami was out the picture it seems. This gives me Shaq and Kobe vibes.

I realize we are in the middle of a youth movement and Jrue is 2 years older than Kyrie, but if there was any way to send out Kyrie for Jrue I would be all over it.  Jrue is the perfect fit with Luka (other than age).

I think he is also great fit next to Kyrie as the on ball defender. Luka-Kyrie-Jrue would be hell of a big three. But also a big gamble. If it doesn't work, not much else you can do
