Not really. Zero shooting with those 2.

A lot of needs doesn't not equate to all needs.  If you want to reinvent the Dallas defense, that's a great starter kit.

I have been very pleased with the new MBT so far. Though if the MBT implements more of my ideas/strategies and they fail, I´ll have to go full KD. Create a burner account Mavs2025 and start bahsing that moron Mavs2021. Big Grin

You could just create a burner account called Fifteenth and argue with yourself all the time  Big Grin

I assume DP is one of those poor defensive bigs you mention, and my interest starts with their ability to get rid of him first.

As for who to target in that situation, is Holmes considerably better than Portis on defense? And what's the actual price difference?

I'd love Ball but I'd bet anything he wants the ball in his hand more than Luka would afford him.  Sounds like he's a lock for Chicago.

Portis said he wants 15m+.  Not sure he'll get there.

4 yrs/$60M is a STEAL for RH IMO.

My opinion (without closely examining price):

With KP, give me Portis.

Without KP, give me Holmes.
Welp, I was gonna watch "The Jump" on ESPN to catch Woj and other insiders.  But to do so you have to watch Stephen A. and Kendrick Perkins.  Uh, HARD PASS.

Seriously, ESPN, why is this so hard to understand?

I think Holmes is wildly better on defense.  I would say top 10 defensive centers in the league.  He can be your anchor.  Portis is somebody you need to hide on defense (with somebody like Giannis).  He can't protect the rim and is slow on the perimeter.  I would easily pay 4/60 for Holmes, and Portis would probably be lower on my extensive MLE player list.
Give Richaun Holmes Wes Matthews money bro. Come on it's not hard.
We will probably sign Tacko Fall.

"I need more centers."
