Right.  And if he were the same, I can't imagine Boston would give him up.  Maybe they think they can't resign him?  And has KL pointed out, he does have goofball moments.  Maybe he's worn out his welcome.  I'd lean towards not the same though.

I don't think Rick or KP want a part deux.  So how 'bout:

Mavs - Turner, Brogdon, Warren
Pacers - Siakam, Powell, Brunson

That´s always the case, but this time Lowry is the top dog taking something like a Max and then the next tier is Derozan, Dinwiddie, Collins maybe THJ and players worth a notch over the MLE. Which is great if you have a team and you´re looking to get someone for the MLE but bad if you need a real player.

Seems like they all agree to play the lottery. Everyone announces deals immediately. Every few years a team gets randomly punished

Holmes is a good pick up for the right price, and Zeller is very underrated.  Is KP really a center?

LOVE Holmes and want him BADLY. Agree on Zeller and think that question on KP is legit as well.

I was just making a joke because the Mavs currently have KP, DP, Boban, WCS, and Moses for centers and have been connected to at least Holmes on the market. I believe when the dust settles the Mavs will have a "normal" amount of centers.

Poking around on the Celtics realgm page I saw multiple people mention how much his defense has fallen off lately. I wouldn't have thought that at all a few days ago.
But really modern defense greatly undervalues individual perimeter defense. All about what you have in the interior and how well your team defense functions overall. I also feel guys like Richardson and Wright would have been way more important even just 10 or 15 years ago.
People turn against them when they're not these magical perimeter fixes but I'm not sure those exist at the moment
