I would not have a problem with his vet presence for playoff basketball though. We need an at least 2 for 1 trade to consolidate our bigs, that opens up a space for him or Winslow.
Yeah, I'd take him, too. I don't have a problem with your take at all.
Just saying, that would kind of be a wrap on any chance of Josh Green getting into the rotation, barring trade or injury. He'd have DFS, Bullock, Brown, THJ, DGreen and Brunson ahead of him at both of his positions.
Speaking of JGreen, the former coach got blasted by some for not playing him, but looking at how the new management team is operating in terms of roster construction, it certainly doesn't seem like
they think he's ready to contribute right now, either.
Also, JGreen might learn a few things from DGreen in practice while sitting it out on the bench. I am not all that much in with the crowd that wants to force feed JGreen minutes. If he earns them, great!
He is an outstanding energy/defense guy. What I think at this point he would be best at is to fire up the guys ahead of him on nights they aren’t bringing the energy. Kidd quickly pulling Bullock out because he isn’t showing energy and then putting JGreen in to appeal to Bullock’s pride. I imagine JKidd just yelling at Bullock on the bench saying, “Are you gonna let the kid take your spot like that”?

Yeah, I don't disagree with a thing here. All valid.
I'm just pointing out angles on this that I find interesting. People thought it was a unilateral coaching decision not to play Green, but it sure seems to me that (right or wrong) there is consensus from the entire organization that it's too early to pencil him in for even a top 10 rotation spot. I'm sure you're right that they hope he can earn one. I know I do!
Tell Danny Green that we'll sign him, string him along for two weeks and then sign anyone else.

Sign the equipment manager!

Any of those would be good especially Jackson or Markannen. Not sure if Oubre or Schroder are available.
One step closer to Beal joining a super team.
We're in two big trades!!! And we're getting Holmes!

I'd love to see an 8 team deal, just to see how the "touch rule" plays out in such a monstrosity. (That requires the various teams to be trading with each other in that transaction, not just all of them basically transacting with one team.) Once they are trading anyhow, no telling what else might be added into the swap meet.
And the guy saying the Mavs still have $15M in cap room just erased any possible credibility on NBA things. That's cluelessly off base by a mile, not just in understanding the numbers, but in having any feel for what's going on.
