With all due respect to Grant, until he proves himself to be more credible (he very well may). Why would we give him any more credibility than Fish?

1) We'll see soon enough.

2) He probably has Fish's contacts and we know Fish is accurately connected to Conley's camp (we saw that during DAL's pursuit of him a few years ago).

Kam you've threatened to lose your respect for Nico several times during this few day old  process after starting out as his biggest supporter.  You've been hanging out with Scott4Hyperbole too much.

Yeah, 3/75 should be enough to pry Conley away. He can't love the bad city that much.

Well it's true. I will give him the immediate benefit of the doubt (as I have done), but once what I perceive to be bad moves start rolling in then I will have evidence to formulate my opinion on him.

So far the JRich trade is REALLY promising....but all the Lowry talk makes me very nervous because I STRONGLY disagree with the price points being thrown around.

Question for you:

Does Conley hypothetically getting 3yrs/$60M from UTA and Lowry getting 3yrs/$90M from DAL not affect your opinion of Nico?

Hasn't happened yet.

If those two contracts were to happen, there's also the possibility that Nico ends up having been better at talent evaluation than us folks on a message board as well.

Of course...time would eventually reveal if Lowry was a good fit and the right price....BUT I will be able to have an OPINION immediately.

We're all entitled...
Boy, based on these rumors lately, it looks like 2019 might happen all over again.  No Conley.  No Lowry.  No Derozan.  You really aren't a destination players want to go to if you can't even get a meeting with those guys.  Maybe get a meeting with Lowry.  Maybe.

Hard to answer because I don't think like that. I most likely won't develop a strong opinion for a while.  I'll have thoughts about the offseason after the moves are made but will hold them loosely until I have a couple months to see the on court product.

But I don't expend much energy at all into judging performance based on things that haven't happened.

I have an opinion immediately that these rash takes are getting old. Come on dude. I think we have also seen enough of your posts on Lowry to know where you stand.
It's the 3rd year for Lowry more than the AAV for me.  If they can somehow dump Powell or whatever to get both Lowry at THJ, I dont care if they pay Lowry $20, $25, or $30 million.

I just dont want that guaranteed third year.

No meetings please.  Decisions.

Brunson for Robinson.

KP, Maxi, Powell, Brown, Robinson is definitely a pu pu plater upgrade at that rotation.

This a bit over the top. Did I encourage this? I didn't think I was mean spirited about poking Kam about his opinion. If I inspired this then I apologize to the board.

Exactly right back at you.

I believe it is "rash" to think that Lowry is a good get at 3 yrs, $90M and therefore #nicochangeseverything. And I have seen your love posts for Lowry enough to know where you stand.

You're both right. Any opinion posted more than once, other than a negative one about KP (obvs) or a positive one about DFS (way obvs) is too much.

In my opinion, Luka is good at basketball.

Having said all that, my approach might make for a boring message board.

I REPEAT:

In my opinion, Luka is good at basketball.
