I guess these two will always be linked because of the draft day trade.

Wonder how Trae will fare this season. He is a phenomenal talent offensively, but the last two seasons he decided to take advantage of drawing fouls, ala James Hardin. I understand that it's free points. Went from 5.1 FTA/gm to ~9 FTA/gm over the last two seasons. But now there is the emphasis on "non-basketball" moves not creating fouls. So it will be interesting to see how if affects his game and his perception in the league. I think he has to get All NBA to truly max out his contract, but if his scoring is down it could impact voting since he's not going to chart in any other category aside from assists.

Yeah, I can totally relate  Watched every game in live or pseudo live. If a game is at 8 pm US time (2 am Slovenia) at latest I watch live, if game is later I wake up an hour after the start (like 4 am) and watch tape from start on League pass. Any case, I don't get much sleep on game nights and I have to say that last extremely condensed schedule was very demanding for fans too

Nico really needs to get to the bottom of what makes Luka so successful in the international game (what types of teammates he has) and build the roster with higher quality players with those skill sets.

He needs to figure out how to bring the Luka joy we saw his rookie season and during his Olympic run.
