Luka giving THJ the business at the end of this video. lol

In his last 20 games Luka is shooting....

50.2 FG%
43.4 3P%
73.6 FT%

That is 173 3PA...which is more 3PA than Dirk had in 6 of his 21 seasons.

I guess he has a chance to find a role in the league.

Clearly not the first pick. Ayton is the perfect big for the modern NBA and Bagley has a quick second jump. Doncic has already reached his ceiling. Lack of athleticism limits his upside.

NBA comparisation: Bigger Ricky Rubio. Less athletic Gordon Hayward.

Thanks again Suns, Hawks and Kings.
After almost 3 seasons, I think it's safe to say that Luka is just a weird/unpredictable shooter both from 3 and at the FT line. His FT shooting is still so odd to me. A month ago, he was shooting the best he's ever shot from the FT line...mid 80%. But after the week off from the snow, now it's been at a career low, yet his 3-pt shooting is improving  Huh

I just wonder how much free throw shooting comes down to fatigue?  Just an eye test this season but he's a lot more active on defense and all his rebounding responsibility takes a toll.  Or maybe that's the next thing he'll work on.

I think it is psychological. It is very different to come to the line and have half a minute to think about the shot than shooting automatically in the flow of the game. I think he will only improve with experience. If it was fatigue, his general shooting percentage would be dropping with minutes played.
Wonder what he has to do to win a player of the week award?
Guys are funny

Just goes to show that life on the road is not all glamour and groupies.

Or maybe it is, which is why he needs an afternoon nap.   Big Grin
If I was Cuban I'd write a blank check and get John Stockton in here to be Luka's personal coach.

Can you imagine the wisdom the greatest table setter could impart on Luka at this stage of his career?

I mean Luka already can get 12-15 assists a night if teammates are hitting their shots. But Stockton could show Luka a higher level of controlling the game flow and moving the ball.

Just a random thought I had this morning while procrastinating.

I bet Malone could suit up to this day and get Luka another 4-5 assists per game pretty easily.  Not trying to downplay John, he was tremendous.
