Nick Wright's tweets should be banned just because of the way he says pronounces "bro" as "brew" which is the epitome of:

I am sure there was an oversight with Trae missing.

This isn't an insult but Trae Young might be better at NBA Twitter than he is NBA hooping.

Near all players and coaches in NBA would pick Luka over Trae, every single time, if gotten the choice. Every single Mavs fans would pick Luka, you will likely not find a single one prefering Trae. Some Hawks fans are still in denial phase and protect the trade, but there is also a clear increasingly growing fraction of them that are past the denial phase.

Luka is a different animal, build for the brutal physicality of the playoffs, and a lot more all around player, and making huge impact on both ends of the floor. Trae is more a one way offensive PG. While Luka is a true QB of the team, and making huge plays on defense, throughout the playoffs and regular season. I don't even understand that comparisons are made between the two, in beginning of their careers maybe yes, but not any longer.

Irrelevant to what I posted.  lol
Certainly will help if Luka gets DAL to the WCF this year. Flushes the comparisons that Trae has gone farther toward a championship.

I feel you but...

Luka and Trae seem to have a genuine affection for one another and understand the absurdity of the comparisons they'll be tied to for their careers.   And Trae has had a fairly successful career thus far, arguably more successful than Luka if you want to go by the playoffs.  I think in the end, both teams are happy with the trade.  That's not to say that things wouldn't play out different in a do-over situation, but at that point Luka and Booker are probably teammates.  I just wish the Mavs fanbase would stop with the comparisons, dogging Trae, and proclaiming victory in the trade.  We got our guy,  they got theirs.

In playoff terms Luka got his team further in 3 out of 4 years, and in all of regular seasons to a better record. One player is not responsible however for how far the entire teams goes. There are also many other players and most importantly the coach. Other circumstances play in such as level of opponents, for instance Kawhi/PG Clippers or Knicks are not the same thing. Reducing the variable to one player in team sports, is not accounting for the complexity of this sport.

It's fine that everyone expressed their own opinion. Whether one likes to do or dislikes making the comparisons.
Who? Trae? People still talking bout that little dude? Why?
