Couple more games like he has played lately and he will be top 2 in MVP candidacy...can't deny this historic stretch right now...

Luka Doncic just finished the first quarter with more points, rebounds, and assists than the entire Golden State TEAM.

Points - 22 to 16
Rebounds - 5 to 4
Assists - 5 to 4
I realize Golden State is a glorified NBDL team at this point, but this is just absolutely bonkers.

Yeah, that's a great listen!

Gotta give credit to Simmons: while being an unabashed Boston homer, he's also a huge basketball fan as well.

He didn't simply jump on the bandwagon, oh no - he laid the tracks, designed the engine, and is now driving that thing straight across the NBA landscape, blowing its horn and proclaiming Luka's greatness...

Replying to Kamm, this one is pretty cool.
The Don !

Luka The Don !

Don Luka !
Wonder what his season high is going to be. Tossing in 22 points in a quarter after 17 just the game before leads me to believe not only could he put up 60 point but that we just might see it this season against a better team if the score stays close.

BTW I mean 60 just during regulation too. Who knows what could happen in a couple of overtimes...

What do you guys think we be his season high this season?

I've had this feeling since last year that if Luka was hot he could score 60 easily. Tonight he could've done it had he played another 10 minutes and actually tried, but there was no need.

I truly think Luka's 60 point night is on it's way soon, and if a couple overtimes were to happen he could probably drop 70 if he was feeling it. I just think Luka is that prolific of a scorer.

I think that just depends on his conditioning.
Tim Legler trying to find player comps for Luka:
  • Wayne Gretzky in how easy the game comes to him and how he sees everything before anyone else
  • Larry Bird with tighter handles and a better first step
  • LeBron James in how he can score 25 and beat you with his passing
Also I am just in awe from Luka. Looking at his last 10 games, seeing the things he does and all the attention we are getting, Dirk put it best:

"It's just Lukamania"

Luke thrives under pressure, plus he doesn't know what playing without pressure is like. In fact pumping the breaks might be what's dangerous for him.
