Discussion about why Luka played poorly at the beginning of this season:

Everybody's wrong.  It's not either/or.

Here's a precise breakdown of the causes:

Too many cheeseburgers and pizzas  - 32.9%
Injuries - 32.9%
Girlfriend - 8.4%
Unfamiliarity with American customs  and language - 6.2%
Mother - 5.6%
Small yappy dog - 4%
Video game frustration - 4%
Small pebble in shoe - 3%
Aversion to the color green - 3%
77 + 23 = 100% Magic!

Happy Birthday, Luka!

No way Luka doesn’t earn WC player of the month.

It is, but the by the numbers Luka had the better month and it’s not even close.
Ya, he was channeling his inner Ja on that one.
1st quarter Luka is playing incredible. And he usually wakes up just in time to close out the game. But todays 3rd quarter meltdown from Luka was right in line with his season numbers. For whatever reason his shooting numbers in the 2nd and 3rd quarter are really bad.

per 36:
1st, 32/10/9, shooting 46/41/76
2nd, 25/7/10, shooting 41/26/70
3rd, 27/9/9, shooting 46/26/79
4th, 26/10/7, shooting 45/38/68
Maybe this isn´t even about Luka and more about lineups. After a quick look at lineup numbers my theory would be that Luka is more efficient when he plays with the starters. Struggles when he is playing with various bench combinations.

Got chills watching the reaction from the bench. What a fun team!
I woke up this morning feeling like I must have missed it.

Watching live and the play before the Luka hammer putback was when he rose for a dunk and wound up flat on his back.

My question is, did we ever see a replay of that?  Watching it live and I don’t recall them ever showing it…of course Luka broke NBA Twitter moments later.

If I missed it, that wouldn’t be the most shocking thing in the world.  I’m just curious if anyone has a clip and/or if TNT ever looked at it again.  Also I kind of what to know if he got fouled there (couldn’t tell is he was more mad at a perceived no call or at how bad it hurt).
