@"SleepingHero" good points. Also, some of young Magic's magic happened in the playoffs and this is a regular season award. And those first two years the Lakers were still fully Kareem's team.

A guy has put together a spread sheet that tracks every media vote for every award in the NBA. Of the current votes (Which is greater than 50% of the total voting body), Luka has secured enough points to guarantee a 1st team All-NBA selection.
This is his 3rd straight in a row and puts him in rarified air already. Since 1970, only 3 other players managed to get selected to three 1st team All-NBA in their first 4 years. Those players? Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Larry Bird, and Tim Duncan. That club now welcomes Luka Doncic.
Let’s see what we have to show for it at the end of the season. Because, if he’s 0-4 to even get a playoff series win in those four seasons, he’ll be in even more (anti) rarified air among his fellow generational talents.
We keep saying 0-4. This is his 3rd playoffs.
...and he lost to the better team while putting up one of the best first round performances each time.

Fif said it better than I could. Those guys also joined much more talented teams. It's not Luka's fault for getting injured (as he was the previous two playoffs).
Jordan didn't win his first playoff series until his 4th one either.
Hang in there boys, help is on the way...
