Start at -1:20:10 and that segment runs about +-18 minutes.
I hope that Luka observed the smooth, no hesitation, confident way that Lillard made his free throws. There is plenty of Dirk tape to watch that looks just like it. Dirk took longer to prepare but the shot looked very similar. I believe he still has access to Gary Boren. I really want this game to result in Luka pushing 90% and making close to that on the end of game dynamic free throws.

See what hanging with Dirk for one year does...Smile
Vlade has officially quit in shame for not drafting Luka.

And to think if foul trouble didn't keep him out, he could've shattered that record.

Luka scored 6 points in the 2nd half and only played around 10 minutes. Even in the blowout, its hard to imagine Luka not scoring at least another 10 points if he played his usual minutes.
Luka is great but I really don't know what he was thinking about with those fouls. It could have cost the Mavs the game but the bench was so on fire they didn't need Luka late. It's fine if you goof around with a couple of fouls but once you get to 3 you need to start paying attention. His 5th foul was so dumb, like what is he doing fouling Harrell? It makes no sense. I think he and KP will learn a lot these playoffs. Luka's skills are just off the charts. The national media are taking the Mavs seriously now.
I like this aggressive Luka. You wouldn't see this Luka in regular season but in playoffs his putting effort on both sides of the floor. I don't want a Harden type of player with NO DEFENSE and 80points, a 2-way player is ideal.

You don't usually see Luka in foul trouble because he doesn't see the need to be aggressive, but in games where every point matters, he is putting in the work. Luka's foul on Harrell at least made 1 of 2 on free throws, especially good to foul your low percentage free throwers.

Going to take him a few years to get there, but I think he has the strength to be similar to oldman Kidd
Especially when the ref gives him more free reign. Kidd got away with so much in 2011
My biggest concern with Luka is that he is probably one of those players who will always have injury problems. Dirk was an iron man throughout his career and always survived the occasional rolled ankle. Other than those, he never got hurt during the majority of his career.

Luka's usage is so high and he's asked to do so much that he is always getting banged around and hitting the floor. He has the skillset and basketball IQ of LeBron but doesn't have LeBron's body/athleticism.
He is questionable for game 4 but nothing serious. Still, if he can't play at full strength and we go down 1-3, this series is over.
