Luka said he would be dealing with it all season during the last post game interview.

Not to be too much of a cynic but some of Dirk's statements seemed like a pitch to Luka to stay loyal.  The broadcast even cut over to Luka after one of Dirk's statements.
Seeing Luka hug, laugh, and take pics with Dirk all the while wearing a t-shirt of Dirk at his rookie press conference has to be the ultimate Mavs heart filling moment possible right?

Klay Thompson has almost 400K and hasn't played yet, so...my guess is something kind of proactive is going on with GS fans.

The Warriors are particularly popular in China, which will massively skew any global fan poll.

As we all know, the All Star Vote has always been a popularity contest, and let’s face it, the Mavs have been boring to watch until about a week, 10 days ago. Between the poor shooting, out-of-shape Luka, Luka’s injury, KP continually out, COVID absences, the inability to beat any decent teams, Mavs basketball has been vanilla at best up until now.

However, I will say that some of the early pain of building the defense has paid off. Also very psyched to see JG come into his own. Glad he’s been given a chance to shine, all thanks to Bane lol.
We're back to "too many stats" news!!!

I guess we will keep him.

Mobley ahead of Zion?  What if you have a last minute hot dog eating contest?  That's why Luka is the top rated.  He can produce on the court and get you to the podium on the off chance that Nathan comes calling.

I am really high on Mobley. Just going through the last few draft classes. Who was the last rookie with comparable defensive impact in his first season?
Simmons, KP, Turner? Don´t think they were as good in their rookie season. Maybe Embiid? But we have to consider that he played his first game more than two years after the draft.
