John Stockton is the only guy I can think of with those assist numbers.

Karl Malone was a beast.

If only we could say the same in DAL....
Are these games, or replays, anywhere available in the US?

I think also it might be possible. It depends a lot on if there will be some good players around him. Thus it depends so much on who becomes the GM.

A big and a forward that will know how to use that space inside that Luka creates. Shooters outside that are better than the ones we have now. Luka has made all of them look better, for instance maxi, DFS, THJ, their value has only increased significantly compared to their talent lavel and previous value. But all that aside, if you place elite shooters around Luka, this will be a different story, he may get the assist numbers you wrote. I think we saw some of that with Seth last season, it propelled our numbers to historic efficiency season offensively.

Lukas passing game is improving all the time, and that is incredible to even think about.

He will go down as top 5 player all time IMO. Even with a mediocore supporting cast he has now. With some good or elite players around him, this might become a dynasty.

Mavs need a pick and roll big...

I've been shouting from the rooftops that this is priority number one next to Luka. Totally agree!

This is astute.
Luka is so gosh darn fun to watch.

Imagine Luka with prime Amar'e.

Yep! I have literally said the same thing.

But wasn't Luka/KP actually good according to stats?...I would like to know who kept Luka from playing with more PNR guys or using them like KP Powell instead of the one ball handler and everyone else watching and being ready to chuck a 3...

I agree we need a PNR player also...

KP as the screener doesn´t work. We just had the numbers a few days ago. Most switches in the league among players with 1000+ screens. As long as guards and wings can defend him in the paint that won´t change. Powell actually had the best +/- numbers among Mavs bigs in the playoffs but for some reason WCS was getting more minutes.

Clippers took PnR away. Wouldn't be any different. Gobert is a great PnR player but couldn't punish Clippers small ball.

I think if the Mavs had a truly offensively skilled guy like Collins it could be different. I would at least expect him to punish small-ball better than KP or Gobert.

Agree, Collins can punish small ball. Guys like Jackson and similar, if I take Clippers. Can he punish Kawhi or George though?

Collins hasn't shown me enough consistently.  He's a decent shooter, not a good one. He has flashes then disappears. He can get better, he's young enough, but I'd be leery giving him a boatload of $$
I hope Luka is at home watching these guys play at a high level for 50+ mins in the playoffs and realizes he needs to get his diet and conditioning in order. It is THE key to unlocking his potential.

To be fair. KD was done. Completly exhausted. Missed the last 3-4 shots. Couldn´t get to the rim. Short on the jumpshots.

That's kind of the point, right? He tired out, so they lost.
