Still, the Taurasi comparison doesn't seem quite as apt statistically as the one to James for a couple of reasons.

Ultimately, Taurasi isn't considered the WNBA's GOAT (rightly or wrongly) primarily because of her statistical production. That's more a testament to Taurasi's history of big performances on the biggest stages, including three national championships at UConn and three WNBA titles with the Phoenix Mercury. Despite his impressive track record of big shots by age 22, Doncic has a long way to match that.

Wait what? Who considers LeBron the NBA GOAT. I´d say there are FAR more people that consider Taurasi the female GOAT than LeBron the male GOAT.

Btw Taurasi also won six Euro League titles, about a dozen European league titles/cups and multiple MVP honours in Europe. When it comes to female GOAT discussions I only hear two names: Taurasi and Cheryl Miller, who couldn´t play professionally, cause there were no leagues.

Not my favorite celebration move lol.
Not to bring up a sore topic, but I think Luka is 2 T's away from the automatic suspension. Hopefully, he's under control for the rest of the year, but stuff happens.

Two questions:

Does the count reset once the playoffs start?
If you hit the magic number, how many are you allowed as a repeat offender?

Believe Luka is three T's away, as his tech against the Knicks was rescinded.

The count resets once the playoffs start. Players get suspended for a game after the 7th technical in the playoffs.

Believe that players get suspended another game for every two techs after the 16th.

All these rules apply only to unsportsmanlike conduct technical fouls. Stuff like 3-second violations, delay of game, etc. don't count for purposes of suspensions.

Thanks. I hope RC and staff remind him every game to just take a breath and let it go. Remember the big picture.

Impressive game for Luka but it was because his teammates made their shots.

If he had better shooters around him, he would have a couple of more 20 assist games, and probably a dozen more triple doubles. How many times have we seen him finish with double digit points and rebounds, and 8 or 9 assists?

11 assists from 3 pointers made, 5 assists from lobs and 4 of those strange assists, where player passes to a guy on three pointer, who takes a dribble or two and shoots a midranger. No idea why those last ones count as assists in NBA.

I've noticed that too.  Sometimes I'll intend to compliment someone on a good passing night and look at the plays on NBA.com.  I've seen some assists where there were four dribbles and a layup following the pass.  Maybe what constitutes "directly" leading to a basket is flexible.  Maybe some kind of move negates the assist, but if the dribbler has a clear path it is an assist?
Technicals upheld! The NBA is trying to prove a point with Luka, let's see if it works. I doubt it, he might as well get that next technical in the next game so we can get that suspension out of the way early
