You exaggerate with your "once every 15 games" bs.

13 games left, only three against non-cupcakes (Miami, Brooklyn, Memphis). Four back-to-backs, two of which involving the non-cupcakes. 

Play like the last three games, and not like the prior seven, and we'll be the fifth seed. If we hadn't freaked off those seven games, fourth would be a realistic possibility. Pretty damned good considering that Covid trough.

I’ll be really, REALLY disappointed if we didn’t go all out for that 5th spot...

Sad to say, but the Mavs have no cupcakes on their schedule. The worse the opponent, the worse the Mavs tend to play. Every game has a real chance to be a loss.

Luka Doncic (left elbow contusion), Kristaps Porzingis (left ankle sprain), Maxi Kleber (lower back contusion) and Josh Richardson (right hamstring tightness) are questionable to play Monday night in Sacramento, according to the team’s pregame media notes.

The 5th seed right there and this team is still playing games with what are supposed to be easier opponents.

That Luka miracle shot vs Mempis might be huge at the end of the year.  

Dame behind Luka for MVP imo.  Luka was dinged for his team not winning, well the Mavs are better than the Blazers now.

Neither is likely to win it though.

They gonna try to beat SAC with the backups and bring the full squad vs GSW. I'm clinching my cheeks.

So far, DAL has swung from 4th place down to 14th place and now back up to 6th. Is that the biggest swing for any team? Usually, if you drop that much you go into tank mode, don't you.

Respect to them for playing through the COVID adversity and all the nagging injuries to get back into the middle of the playoff hunt.
