Also from that interview --
Mark Cuban is going to be Mark Cuban, and there is nothing you can do about that, but I think he needs to get hold of his organization.

Townsend or Tim Hardaway said that??
The road to contender is through payroll expansion, not payroll contraction. Have to think we try hard to stay over the cap and keep our free agents rather than plan-powder our noses.

Would certainly be ideal but I'm just wondering how exactly
Hopefully some sneaky contract moves can be made with the free agents we don't actually want to keep. I still just go back to this past trade deadline and the complete lack of foresight for this summer. What the hell was the plan? For the life of me I don't know what thought they could do that would improve the roster in a meaningful way. That was the point to add some long term salary
Hopefully the new guys have a proper 2 to 3 year plan forming without Cuban meddling too much

This year, improvement will be achieved by the use of cap room. We have enough cap space that it's hard to imagine that isn't the case.
A lot of people forgot about Terry last season because of all the missed time. Out of sight, out of mind. But I'm personally still pretty stoked about him and am excited to see what he can do with a fresh start.

Maybe. But, the guy they are working out with is also responsible for Julius Randle. Randle has also been in these workouts. I do like what I’m seeing as far as the workouts go.

Hey I could be wrong for sure. Just have seen horror stories of young rookies choosing the wrong vet to attach to and they just fizzle out. Nick Young said Gilbert Arenas was his vet and if he wasn't he probably could have had a much better NBA career.
But we'll see. Lets hope Terry improves enough to be played in non-garbage time minutes.

Hasn't acknowledged Kidd yet, either.

Hey it can´t hurt to have Mosley in Orlando, who have many interesting pieces. Maybe Mosley really likes THJ and quickly you get Ross/Bamba or something around Porzingis. Maybe there is even a player that likes Carlisle and would be happy to go to Indiana.

To my knowledge, nobody on the team has. And I'm sure that's by design. Just look at the venom thrown at Dame over innocent support of a new coach on social media. Dallas scheduled the press conference on the 15th with Cynthia for a reason, and I think we should let that play out before jumping to conclusions over individual Twitter activity.

Imho, the situation of assistant getting a promotion is totally different than HC resigning/being fired. There is no PR harm in congratulating Mosley for promotion, even if he is going to another team. Imagine what a media reaction would be if Luka would say that he is happy for Carlisle to go to Indy
Commenting head coach move is a PR nightmare, so best to remain quiet and say something along the lines - "it is not upon me to decide about coaches, I am here to play basketball".
