Which is exactly what one might expect from a guy who came back earlier than he maybe planned from meniscus surgery. Based on how well he played defensively last season, I'm willing to give him time and the benefit of the doubt.

BTW, exploring trade options is just fine but I wouldn't read too much into the quotes of anonymous competing executives. They all have their own agendas, and none of them involve the Mavs' best interests.

I know not all knee injuries are equal but since we just played Memphis, JJJ timeframe when compared to KP is odd especially given how well regarded the Mavs medical staff is and how poor KP has looked on the defensive end...and now he's missing games with back tightness.  They should just shut him down for the meantime and re-evaluate after the all-star break.
