Looks like Luka needs to be playing more at forward.

Came here to post that if it wasn't already. It's a great read.

Quote:While encouraging the Sixers to consider trade options, Kabe and Duffy of course consulted Richardson.
“Where is the No. 1 place you want to go and play?” they asked him.
“Dallas,” he immediately responded.

Great piece. I hope everybody is sincere in their statements. It might be noted that Zach LaVine and Myles Turner are two other Duffy clients often mentioned as being on the trade block. Who knows Smile

Finally an agent that delivers. Of course Happy Luka, Happy Duffy. Cool

LaVine's situation gets interesting next offseason presuming the Bulls are still a mess. He can force his way out at that point and the Bulls won't get full value. If you trade him right now (which they should be trying to do) they could probably get something better than what the Mavs have which are mostly role players. Next offseason though if LaVine is like I will only resign with a short list of teams (including the Mavs) then the Bulls basically have to just take the best package they can get from one of those teams. It could definitely happen. I don't like that LaVine doesn't play defense but I like his offensive game.
FanDuel released the latest odds for the 2021 title following the start to the season, and the reigning champions have the lowest total at +270 (bet $100 to win $270). They are followed by the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and L.A. Clippers:
  • Los Angeles Lakers +270

  • Brooklyn Nets +440

  • Milwaukee Bucks +600

  • L.A. Clippers +700

  • Denver Nuggets +1,600

  • Miami Heat +1,600

  • Boston Celtics +2,100

  • Philadelphia 76ers +2,100

  • Dallas Mavericks +2,500
Certainly way too early to start drawing any major conclusions from this BUT the Mavs defensive rating is currently sitting at 105.7 -- good for 9th in the league. Finishing as a top ten defense was a goal of the team heading into the season, so it's nice to see them off to a good start in that respect.
