Help us Obi-Max J Dori. You're our only hope.
Hopefully JRich and DFS have been working on their shooting while they've been out. If this team wants to have any shot at being in the playoff race, those guys will have to get to at least 34% from three.
Looks like JRich might be one of the closest to return....

According to the information reported on basketball reference (which itself isn’t really official) Maxi seems a long way from returning.  I hope he’s okay.

I doubt basketball reference would have the inside scoop on anything and especially the Mavs, who have their go to media.

Nevertheless it´s not a bad idea to remind ourselves that COVID is no joke. This is not some hamstring pull and two weeks later you are scheduled to be back. First the players have to hopefully be 100% recovered, however long that takes.

Unless I missed something (and don't think I did), BR does not have any such thing about Kleber.

Their only note about him being out is a report of info by Shams. It says he's out for 10-14 days - and it's dated Jan 10.
JRich started working out for the first time yesterday and will be the first of the four to return from COVID isolation.

Yes. This is what was listed on their site. Didn’t see the date, so that’s reassuring to some extent.  Other guys seemed closer to returning.  Just wishing all of them well.  All are young and strong and should recover fully, but it’s an unpredictable  disease.  Look forward to seeing these guys in action again.
It really hurts me that at least 4 of our guys have lost serious time to Covid and perhaps two of them have had to recover from Covid. Most of us really care about these guys in addition to being fans. We don't get to know much about their health and personal stuff, but their families do. My prayers are out to all of them.

Among the people who almost certainly do know is the rest of our team. Friends tell friends important stuff. I pray for how hard this is for them personally as well.

Of course, as a Mavs fan, our team is so short handed and I just want us to stay close to .500 basketball to keep us with a chance. That game the other night just proved how many ways a 5 games in 7 days allows such an incredible advantage to the other team. It should never be allowed again.

The schedule is just another in a long list of Covid losses to our society I suppose.

Pretty shocked that the guy acquired in the Aguirre trade didn't make it higher on that list. Must not have been a very good trade.

Aguirre and Tarpley were key in the Mavs entering the Dark Ages (90s) and leaving being a playoff contender yearly...

We got nothing back near what we lost in the Aguirre trade and Tarpley wasted his elite talent...
