Us mid season after we trade Brunson
This loss is on Bey tweeking his ankle!

That’s how much of a jerk my knee is!
RC on KP:

Quote:“He’s making progress all the time,” Carlisle said. “At this point, I’m confident in saying it’s weeks, not months. But that’s all I’m going to tell you.”

“He’s had two days where he’s played,” Carlisle said. “He played half-court two-on-two and yesterday he played about 30 minutes of four-on-four, which was great. And he did well.

“But he has a ways to go. And we got to try to get him enough practice reps during a (time) when quality practice time is probably going to be more difficult to come by because of the schedule. But he’s doing better.”
Welp I guess I'll tune back in around February.

I’m actually encouraged by this. He seems pissed, and he seems pissed for the right reason, imo.
I don’t know why, or what I expected, but I feel better knowing that everyone in that locker room is pissed by the start, which seems clear from all four of those interviews. I think they’ll figure this out. We just need to be patient, as always.
I myself have no need to panic cause I always watch the beginning of the season looking for trends with the new guys we just acquired and try to see what the FO saw in them. You can't accomplish anything definitively in a long term argument over 2 games, so no reason to get upset with anything to this point. This is why I hate the excuses, there's no reason to excuse these guys, I don't think they excuse themselves as well as they shouldn't.

Then again, my knee is a real jerk sometimes!
KP’s recovery is already taking longer than it should, and now the Mavs are trying to reanchor expectations as if “weeks” is ahead of schedule because it’s not months.

His recovery is not taking longer than it should at all. For the surgery he's had, he's right on schedule, and in fact a bit early since he's doing on court work against other players.

I called out a mid Jan return if KP had a repair back in October, before we knew the start of the season. https://www.qabickcents.com/dallasbasket...php?tid=56&page=29

By all accounts people should be happy since its the best of a bad situation. Now I hope for these freak contact injuries to stop.

That's certainly a knee-jerk. He is not behind schedule.
