Since you like G-league stats, I have more for you Smile

Josh Reaves: 14 pts, 7 rbd, 2 stl, 1 blk. He was +4 on a team that lost by 3. Let's just bring him in, throw him in the starting line-up and see if it works...

We can always get it later. Might even be easier, once they enter full tank mode...

Tyler Bey looking like the best of the three rookies but yall have to remember you have to be otherworldly in the G-league to be a decent NBA rotation player.

Antonius Cleveland is averaging 20/7/4 and 1.5 steals in the G-league.
Jonathan Motley has a career avg of 23/9 in the G-league.

Just like in college a great role player can be just that. No matter the level of competition. A good 3&D player without any handles won´t turn into a go to scorer just because he is playing in the g-league. A low usage defensive big won´t turn into a double double machine.
It´s obviously really difficult to find those guys but that´s the job of a good GM and his scouting department.

Not really true. The NBA isn't just looking for stat stuffing in the G League. Here are some notable guys and their G League days....

Siakam played 5 G-League games and averaged 18 pts, 8 rbds.

Gobert played 8 games and averaged 14 pts, 11 rbds.

Middleton played 3 games and averaged 11 pts, 8 rbds, while shooting 14% from three.

Duncan Robinson played 33 games and averaged 21 pts, 4 rbds.

Clint Capela played 38 games and averaged 16 pts, 10 rbds.

Mostly all solid numbers but I wouldn't call them "other-worldly." I think looking at G League stats can be REALLY misleading, but it is important for guys to be at least somewhat successful in that real game context.

Good points.  Its about skills that they see may translate well to the big league.

Many of those players, like Middleton, actually do even better in the NBA.
Also depends on the role they get with a team if they are called up.

Yeah and neither Tyrell Terry or Bey have the skillset of any of these guys.  (shooters with size or rim protectors)  You just made my point why this draft so so shitty.

"Doncic will get a long write-up later, but don’t sleep on what Dallas did in the 2020 NBA Draft to build up some prospect depth. The Mavs took two players who I had as first-round grades in Josh Green and Tyrell Terry. Green is your prototypical 3-and-D wing who needs to keep ironing out the shot. Terry is a long-term replacement for Seth Curry as one of the truly elite shooters in the class who knows how to play and has tremendous basketball IQ. They also took Tyler Bey. I had a two-way grade on Bey, and that’s what he’s on now. Brunson also continues to look like a high-level backup guard who will stick in the league for a while. It’s not just about Doncic anymore on this roster. Still, he’s the reason why they’re clearly a top-five team."

Dallas was ranked first.

The question is are our rookies here to eventually be packaged into something greater?  Or, are they here to be replacements for players who go out in either a big dollar trade or a big dollar free agent signing?

I am just happy the rookies may actually have some decent value in either scenario.  They didn't look so hot at first.

I think Green looked good for what he was. Sure his 3 wasn't falling, I could care less about that on this team, they know if they shoot the 3 well that they'll get the green light from RC, that is all they have to know to work on it.

If they are managing to get some good practices in during this craziness, then the postponed games might be just what the doctor ordered.
