It's not that serious my guys. JB gone. I ain't losing sleep over it. We're all Mavs fans. No one is attacking anyone. (dirkfan is also a big fan of JD and the Straight Shot)

I haven't banned anyone ever (and don't intend to do so), so if you have something to say go ahead. Perhaps this will be better suited in a PM if you have a personal grievance with me?

As an aside, if my mild trolling is really getting on your nerves my bad. I'm not trying to push your buttons that much. I've made it pretty clear on what I think about Brunson. I understand we disagree. I also understand my position infuriates you for whatever reason. But it's really not that serious. Getting this mad isn't going to vindicate your position. We're all Mavs fans and come here to shoot the shit.

And it's on brand too. Abuse the free agency system, be put in timeout. That'll scare the shit out of teams.

If they actually enforced this consistently the NBA would have to put an entire season of transactions on hold because every team would get busted. Really they need to go back to the spirit of the tampering rule and have a zero tolerance policy while the team is still playing during the season to prevent players from being distracted with contracts talks during the season. They just need to scrap the tampering rules once the season is over, they were silly anyway.

It probably will.  I like the Jalen fit there but what is the end game?  Knicks are positioned well with extra first round picks (most have protections on them though) so in theory they could make another move in the next year or so.

Dolan typically gives his GM's time, but if the Knicks don't make the playoffs is Thibs (and Rick Brunson) back?    Leon Rose would probably get one more chance to hire a coach but he would start being on a short leash.  

Maybe it is a moot point and their youngsters improve and they are a 6th seed this upcoming year.  We will see.
