He and his agent don't want Jalen's new team, which employs both of their fathers, to get in trouble for tampering. This makes it look like it's not already a done deal.

It’s 100% a waste of time unless Cuban brings a 5yr 125-130mil offer to the table…. which doesn’t appear likely.

Are they moving the franchise to New Jersey? If not then this meeting is a waste of time Big Grin

Well he loves Maxi, Dwight and Josh…bring them. Luka is in Europe somewhere, not sure of his teams commitments to games at the moment but if he showed up I’m sure that would mean a lot to JB.

Cuban should immediately build a hotel where he hires and houses nothing but parents of potential draft picks from here and overseas.

Seriously Luka might be the only person who can still fix this. If he - for once - actually puts pressure on this mess of an organization he probably could get them to pony up an offer that keeps Brunson here.

We still can offer more than anybody else after all.

No matter what happens, this is the kind of care I was hoping the Mavs would show. Fight for your 2nd best player; I imagine the $22M AAV offer has to be increased? Cuban doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt but no way he is that dumb to show up with the same offer.

I always saw Miami as a great fit for JB; Riley has to be thinking, "We're paying the corpse of Lowry nearly $30M AAV; we can surely give that to Brunson instead."
