So does everyone else. The number it actually makes sense is higher for Dallas than for anyone else.

He isn't someone carrying a team to the playoffs, but with someone already in place he can do like everything else.

FIFY
Has anyone already posted this? Feeling a lot better about his free agency decisions after listening.

At roughly the 16 min mark, listen to his answer to "What was one of your dark moments when you questioned yourself in the league". His answer was kindof proof that RC plays mind games with young players and if they aren't mentally tough like Jalen is, it could ruin their careers.
Is Jalen Brunson capable of being a #2 on a championship team?

Nico Harrison, Mavericks President of Basketball Operations and General Manager:

"Yeah, I think he is capable for sure. He's shown in the playoffs at the highest level what he can do. I think it's about doing it game in and game out, and he's pretty close to doing that."

Luka and Brunson are the two best young players to build around. Thats the core of a dynasty right there, nobody can match that. The decisions elswhere in the roster will dictate the outcomes. Happy for the Wood trade. We would have given GSW way more problems with him playing instead of what we gave for him which was zero contribution in playoffs.
JB just needs to work on his 3PT shooting.

Yes, and I think maybe it’s not even the shooting that needs work as much improving his willingness to catch and shoot. Way too many pump fakes before the defender gets near him.
I'm totally down with a S&T and getting Julius Randle.

PG - Luka
SG - Hardaway
SF - Finney-Smith
PF - Randle
C - Wood

100% on pulling the trigger more often.

Woj + Stein deeming the Knicks a legitimate threat. Secure the bag, JB!

Quote:League sources tell Stein that the Knicks would be a legitimate threat to sign Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson if they can clear enough cap space to make a max offer. The Brunson family’s connections to team president Leon Rose and the team’s recent hiring of Rick Brunson, Jalen’s father, as an assistant coach give New York an advantage. However, Stein notes that the Knicks’ efforts to unload salary suffered a setback with Alec Burks‘ offseason foot surgery.

He averaged almost 22 in the playoffs. More than several other All-Star guards.
