Memphis making a nice run. JJJ and Morant are so explosive.
Man, the refs are letting them travel all over the place in the Bucks/Celtics game.  First, Giannis takes three steps  to a lay in, and then a Celtic clearly takes three steps on the way to a dunk.
Can't believe Phoenix gave away TJ Warren to the Pacers, for future considerations. He dropped 53 pts on Philly tonight. I always liked his game. He can score in his sleep

I thought he only went crazy on the Mavs.

Toronto looks good tonight.
Raptors can win it all. Under normal circumstances with home court, I think they'd fall short against one of the other contenders but on a neutral court, they have just as good a chance as anyone
Its incredible how you have two players at 6'0 (Frend Van Fleet) and 6'1 (Kyle Lowry) at back court handle the game so well.
Anybody else feel there is no point watching an NBA game before halftime? As long as the score is within 20, the other team is still in the game, between the 3pt line, no defense rules and referees always trying to make a game competitive, there are no secure leads. Leads mean absolutely nothing anymore. That´s a problem. Why bother watching the full game. At least in soccer or hockey a score is meaningful, or a big lead in football or baseball. In basketball half the game has no meaning.
It's Dame Time !!
Refs in the Portland-Boston game should be fired. Complete joke.
Mavs are in the playoff and San Antonio just became a frontrunner for that 9th spot.
You knew the Spurts would do this...lol
Isaac just tore his ACL or something

Man that sucks, he would be my number one dream addition to the Mavs.  Not that Orlando would ever let him go.

That also makes many other people's realistic dream addition to the Mavs, Aaron Gordon, less available.
Van Vleet is great. He will be paid big money in free agency...will the Mavs be in on it? Otherwise, it's Jrue Holiday or bust (via trade or wait 2 years for him to be free)
Mavs really missed a chance with the Lakers salary dump. Isaac Bonga looks like he´ll be the type of defensive stopper we desperately need. Tonight their whole starting five is -10 or worse, while he´s +1 with 29 minutes played. Also seems like he can stay with guards, despite being 6´8.
There will be other asset acquiring opportunities. Our best hope is that we do have a team worth coming to and we have some assets and draft picks to work with. The draft picks themselves can help perhaps the most over time if we hit on the picks.

One thing that can really help is for recruiting in the bubble by doing well and by competing well in the playoffs...especially if one or more of our assets for trade raises their value in the process. Sadly, staying in the 7th position does provide draft order help.
Zion has a lot of work to do. The way he was hyped prior to the bubble start I expected a mini Shaq that dominates in the paint but right now he looks and plays more like Ed Curry or Robert "Tractor" Taylor.
Ironic that the Mavs can still help themselves avoid the playoff Clippers by beating the restart Clippers.
